Good for business

This hotel is located pretty close to o'hare airport. It's suited mainly for business travelers so that if your traveling with family this wouldn't be my first choice. The location though close to o'hare is pretty much away from everything unless you have a rental car or use their shuttle which will take you to the local restaurants and the El station if you plan on going downtown. Their breakfast is "OK" and is buffet style and i wasn't impressed but their dinner service is actually quite good. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on fri-sun so once again not really for pleasure or family travelers.
The front desk was nice and professional, but i didn't have much need to interact with them except for some questions about the local restaurants and their shuttle service. They had a little market with snacks and beer which i must say is a little pricey at $5 a bottle. We also ordered pizza delivery from a place called giordanies which has delicious chicago style pizza.
Like i said their shuttle serves the airport and is free, but they will also take you to the local restaurants. Their shuttle was very busy in the evenings so be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes to get picked up, and when we got picked up we made a few more stops before we got to the hotel but we always tipped the driver well so it appeared that we were always the first to get picked up :) When you have 5 people waiting for the shuttle someone has to be last and we noticed that the folks that didn't tip the drivers were the ones picked up last. So thats some advice for you.
In conclusion this placed served our needs well which was basically a place to sleep while we attended a local convention. I would stay here again for any business, but if i was traveling with family i would choose the something else like the Westin or Hyatt down the street. Their GM was nice and Lynn and Irving at the front desk were very helpful.
