Holiday Inn Peachtree, Norcross

I used to stay here between 4-8 nights per month sometimes more. In exchange, the then Manager, Mr. Sloan, offered me a discount in exchange for my frequent biz. THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING, Mr. Sloan went to go pick up a Corporate type from the Airport who was paying a visit. He drove the guy up to Norcross in his personal vehicle then the scum bag fired him upon arrival to the hotel. Who does this but a greedy cold hearted corporate guy who only stands for self interest and his personal reputation as a hard ball player. He could have at least arranged for his own ride from the airport. Making matters worse, they guy now walks around rubbing his finger on surfaces and arrogantly asking the staff to clean. The staff reacts in fear of losing their jobs. The warm friendly vibe has been robbed by greed. Furthermore, on my last stay, I was informed that the front desk staff was ORDERED to withdraw my discount plan. I never got a courtesy call from the new manager or anything. He just doesn't care about anyone but himself. I ask all of you, is this the type of person you want to give your hard earned money to?? I would rather not. I am so disheartened by this event and truly hope Mr. Sloan lands on his feet fore he was nothing but good to me during me frequent stays at the hotel. To the new guy, you have yours coming. I stay here quite frequently due to the friendly staff, excellent facilities and my kids love the indoor/outdoor pool. The restaurant has a nice menu with reasonable prices. Rooms have refridgerators and there is a grocery store and target right across the street.

I just went to hotels.com to write a review for this hotel and found that I couldn't since I didn't book through that website. I was shocked two find two negative reviews (they both appear to have been written by the same person). I wanted to submit a review of this hotel because I stayed there March 4 and 5 and was very impressed. I travel several times monthly for business purposes and sometimes take my family along, as I did on this trip. I don't recall every having had a more pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently arranged for safety, comfort, and convenience; the staff were extremely attentive and responsive, the pool and hot tub were well maintained and easily accessible; the business center is adequate and comfortable; my room was clean and well appointed. A microwave was conveniently located near the vending and ice machine, rather than in the room, which I liked far better than having it in the room. The management of this hotel is going an excellent job. We felt like valued guests. The only disappointing aspect was the restaurant. We had my birthday dinner there and it was pricey and the food was terrible. A new cook would be a definite plus.

discolored toilet seat. shower knob was bad. the staff was rude. you could hear everything in the thin waslls. not a great place to stay. there were cars broken into i heared. i wouldn't stay here again.
