Bayside Inn Key Largo, Key Largo

was very good before changing hands but unfortunately new management has left this p[lace without adeqate night security and the animals run the zoo , also both rooms we stayed in had problems fro no heat to broken sliding doors to fans not working in bathrooms and extremely noisy.

This was a wonderful property, I really enjoyed my stay. The gentleman at the front desk was a great help, Michael was able to recommend several activities and restaurants for us. All of the rooms are nicely appointed and quiet. I was told they were planning on renovating all of the rooms too, so I can't wait to come back. They have a beautiful beach looking out over the bay, and my son and I caught some snapper off the end of their jetty. The best part was, they even had barbeque grills available on the property so we could cook our catch right there! Another thing that I liked was its proximity to so many local restaurants, I stayed for a week with my family, and we were lucky enough to sample a lot of the "local" cuisine. Right next to the beach is a restaurant called Snooks, which has some of the best food I have had in a long time. I will definately be staying here again, when I come back to the Florida keys

This was my first visit to Key Largo and found the Bayside Resort, affordable, well maintained and well managed. General Manager Ms. Dowty went out of her way to assist us with our many special request. Really a nice place with a cute little beach.

If your are looking for something basic here it is. we stayed in a regular room with a king bed. we opted out of one with a view (which as about 20 more) b/c we were only there to sleep. they do have the internet and small beach. but keep in mind that there are no REAL beaches in the keys so this is pretty much a smaller version of what the rest in town look like. breakfast is continental and everyone pretty much knows that that means basic stuff. but there are great resturants with more to offer just down the street. All in all it was a nice quiet place to be!

Very good location. Very clean. Very quiet. Everything was in working order. The bay front garden and the (small) beach are well maintained, and a great place to watch sunset.

we were there for our wedding aniversary and found the place lovely. Clean rooms albeit basic, and no view. Beach and Snooks next door were great, great cocktails! Great base to explore from.
