Never again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/08/08
Everything looked fine and the people were lovely - exceptionally friendly. However, the mattress on my bed was so bad that I got anything but a good night's sleep in Harrisburg. Needless to say, the next day was ruined because of the back pain. When I returned home I missed a half day of work and needed a trip to the chiropractor to undo what that mattress did to my back. Would not pay $240 a night for that again and would clearly try another hotel the next time. An exhaust fan in the bathroom during/after my shower would have been nice too.

Stay away during Pageant time
By Heather C, 10/26/07
I liked the place but elevator service was absolutely terrible even though the elevators were "controlled". We waited almost 45 minutes for one elevator ride! The stairs wasn't an option since my mother is disabled! Find out the events or activities in advance because if something BIG is going on, the elevators are not very dependable! Otherwise, the service was ok despite my room service tray sitting outside my room door for a day and a half!

Been there dont that
By Desire, 06/06/06
The room service stinks and the pool was to little and crowded, but other than that my experince at the Hilton was enjoyable, it would of been even better if i didnt have to wait for my towels over 5 hours and share the pool with 30 people.

Great Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/19/06
I loved the stay, from having free internet access to having paid an upgrade fee that was well worth the new bedding and breakfast and snacks at night. The staff made me feel welcome and like I was the only customer on property!!

A Welcome Choice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/05
The Harrisburg Hilton and Towers was a pretty good choice for a trip I took to visit the State Capitol earlier this year. The staff were polite and friendly, and the food from the shops nearby was excellent. The rooms were very clean and not what I had expected to be honest. The location, for me anyway, was excellent as it was in walking distance of where I had to stay. The value was average, but some would say quite good for the proximity to the state capitol building.

Think Again.
By Lenny, 06/24/05
Hilton, a premium hotel right? Not so true in the case of Harrisburg's Hilton hotel. The service was horrible, and the price was ridiculous. I put a breakfast request in, one evening, the next morning it was still on the door. I used their pool, and cut the bottom of my foot on a rough spot. Overall, it was Not a good experience.

Easy access to East and west shore
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/20/05
This hotel is located in very good sopt where you can have easy access to both the west and east shore of Harrisburg. Also a walking distance from City island where there is usually activities and stuff to do. You can also see the river but not from every room.
