Never Again!!
By Ms Cntry, 11/08/07
Front Desk never answered the phones, room was too small, not cleaned well, floors need fixing, fixtures and chairs need fixing. Mirrors half cleaned, sink plug stuck, didn't even want to use the shower, filthy windows, no screens, curtains have holes in them, remote for TV didn't work.Laminated oder sheets for restaurants were sticky, not cleaned. Just a overall very very poor experience. Never Again!!

What a bargain.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/04/07
Only a short hop to Boston. I got a real kick out of this converted shoe factory. Nice to see people a preserving history while changing with the times. I thought it was a real value.

so-so
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/16/07
This EconoLodge is a converted shoe factory. It seemed to be in an area where you wouldn't want to walk around outside at night nor have your wife or daughter go out to the car by herself. The wi-fi is very weak and couldn't hold the signal so if you have work to do this isn't the place. The rooms are very small. I suppose it is a good value money-wise but we would probably not stay there again.

Econo Lodge Manchester
By Megan, 05/25/07
This hotel is mediocre at best. The rooms are clean, but everything is old and mildly worn down. Local buzz is this is the worst hotel in town and has more than its share of "interesting clients".

A pleasant surprise!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/10/07
I found this lodging not only perfectly located for my endeavors in Manchester, it was also staffed by caring and responsive personnel. Upon request of the quietest room, I slept soundly!

Avoid if possible !!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/10/06
We were planning a NH fall foliage trip and booked this hotel since it seemed to provide good value for money. We regretted doing this the instant we got there. The receptionists were rude, the corridors smelled bad, the rooms were not clean, and there was even graffiti on the bathroom doors !!! Definitely not a recommend.

Give up before even trying!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/14/06
I tried making a reservation at this hotel. I spent at least 20 minutes on the phone long distance from PA just trying to tell the guy my name and what I was looking for in a room. The guy was very rude when I asked him several times to repeat himself, told me he wasn't making my reservation and he hung up on me.

You get what you pay for!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/04/06
This is a perfect example of "You get what you pay for". The rooms are clean and the location is close to the highway. That is as good as it gets. The service is basically self service and the staff really doesn't want to be bothered. The "amenities" that are on the web site are for a room on the first floor. You have to specifically request that room to receive them and the reservation people are not going to tell you that. The basic rooms are simply a hair dryer and basic cable for the television. You better remember the your own shampoo because there are not any samples for you either. This is the least expensive stay in Manchester. For the additional $20.00, the Comfort Inn down the street is probably a better deal. At least they would have the amenities for all the rooms that they advertise. However, if you are a Manchester native looking for "afternoon delight", I highly recommend this place. The parking area is not visible from the street and the staff barely speaks english let alone remembers who you are!

Have been staying here for several years
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/15/05
We've been coming to Econo Lodge for the past several Thanksgivings to visit with relatives. We have found the rooms to be very clean with comfortable beds and good service. The only problem seems to be the parking area--too small! Their continental breakfast is good and the rooms are an excellent value. True, the building is old, but being a converted factory I found the ambiance interesting. Great use for an old building with historic significance to the area. We'll be staying here again in July and I'm looking forward to another positive experience.
