Red Roof Inn Tinton Falls - Jersey Shore, Tinton Falls

The manager harassed me and the hotel is facing a lawsuit. All I can say to them is SHUT UP and BEAT IT!

travel quite a lot, and I have stayed at many hotels. Let me tell you, this is by far the WORST HOTEL I have ever stayed in. The room smelled like urine, the toilet didn't flush, the floor in the bathroom was filthy, the bathtub had mold all over it, the sink was cracked, the mattress was very uncomfortable, I felt the springs all over my back all night long... should I continue describing? The staff was OK however. I made a reservation for two nights at Red Roof Inn, and ended up staying only one night. I stayed the second night at a Marriott nearby even if I knew I was not going to get my refund for the second night at Red Roof Inn. I couldn't stay for a second night.

It was exactly that a place to sleep. No pool, No amentities as hair dryer, refrigerator microwave, coffee pot in room. Go next door for the same price at the Comfort in and they have a refrigerator, microwave a pool and the complimentary beakfast. Wow. Next time I'm there.

I liked the hotel grounds; they were nice for walking my dog, and set back a bit from the main road. The staff was friendly, but a bit slow. When I had to change rooms due to a difficult neighbor, it took them forever to get the new room prepared even though they knew I was just waiting to move my stuff to the new room and then leave the hotel for a commitment they had (I stood in the parking lot outside the office the whole time...) They still moved like molasses. Anyway, the room was clean enough. Very little amenities, and yes, a teeny pack of travel tissues. My bathroom door was broken off its hinges, but it didn't matter, as I didn't ever open/close it anyway. I would stay there again, just for the great weekday rates and dog friendly atmosphere. OH! And bring your own DO NOT DISTURB sign -- they do not have them there! :-\
