Hotel very clean.. Staff so friendly, especailly the breakfast attendant and Bob the desk clerk. Pool area very nice and clean. Just across the car park to the beach. All in all great value for money...

2 night stay

We won a free 2 night stay in St. Augustine! So the price was just perfect for us. We loved the decorations of the hotel. The pool was still a bit cold in March, but the outdoor hot tub was very nice. Our room was not too big, but big enough for us, and it was quite clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel offers a free breakfast that is very nice for a free breakfast. Much more than the typical 'continental' you get at most places. There was road construction during our visit that took away from the local scenery. But it is just a short walk to the beach. One restaurant close by, the Fiddler's Green, was packed and overpriced. Food was ok. Location was not bad for getting to outlet shops and downtown historic St. Augustine. Around the hotel seemed to be mostly night life, a few bars and clubs.

Comfortable and Convenient

We have stayed seveal visits to the St Augustine area now and enjoy the convenience and comfort of this hotel. Good choice of options in room styles and an enjoyable daily breakfast and weeknight wine and cheese party. Short walk to the beach and a short hop into all of the historical and culinary delights of beautiful St Augustine, along with the good restaurants nearby on Vilano Beach. The daily maid service was promt and complete and the remainder of the staff was also accesible, courteous and helpful. Hotel is currently selling rooms in a condo/hotel conversion which has not, and reportedly will not, affect it's service as a quality Clarion hotel.

Simply the BEST!!!

Staying at this hotel was a delight! All of the staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is kept impeccably clean and the pool and spa area is spacious and relaxing. This was my second stay and the desk staff knew exactly what my preferences were. The breakfast attendant was extremely accommodating and made each guest feel special. I definitely would recommend to anyone and look forward to staying there again in the future.

A great discovery!

GREAT ALL AROUND ATMOSPHERE

In our case, we went to the Casa Del Mar, cite unseen, (with the exception of the internet), I rate this Resort as excellent because of the service, Reggie is an absolute asset to the Resort, very pleasant and helpful and very upbeat and effecient. So many breakfast items to choose from. Everyone at the desk was pleasant to speak with. Cleanliness was overall in the rooms and pool. The location for surfing, dining, and cite-seeing were great. My husband, my kids and I were all very pleased in the service and atmosphere of the entire resort. The beds were very comfortable! Absolutely wonderful all around.******AND at a GREAT PRICE TOO!!!! Iabsolutely loved my stay there.The rooms were decorated tastefully and oh so clean,great buffet for breakfast.The owners were the nicest people.We will definitely stay there again!
