Homewood Suites Erie Pa, Erie

The hotel itself is fine, starting to show its age, but fine. The problem is the housekeeping. First, the room smelled. Not sure of what, but it smelled. Maybe someone smoked in the room and they tried to cover it, but it wasn't a pleasant odor. Second, my son unfolded the sofa bed and found (1) it was unmade and (2) a prior guess Cheerios and used blanket. Third, in the kitchen area we found the kitchen wastebasket full of a prior guests wine bottle and grocery wrappers. Fourth, toilet paper holder was missing it center tube, toilet paper was sitting on top of the toilet. Fifth, housekeepers pounded on the door before 9:00 am on Sunday wanting to clean the room. I can understand later in the morning, but 9:00 am on Sunday morning is too early to start waking people up. I won't stay in this hotel again. For the price I paid it was a big disappointment.

The only thing I saw wrong, was the eating counter top was not clean. Other than that, the staff was great, room was clean and comfortable. The pool and excercise room were nice. Breakfast was good and very sufficient. I checked in with no reservation and was in my room in 5 minutes. No Hassle!

We stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which was absolutely spotless. I called the front desk several times for extra towels, etc., and never waited more than 2 minutes for the items to be hand-delivered. Even when walking to our car, the staff would ask if there was anything we needed. The service was fantastic. Their complimentary breakfast rivaled the pricey breakfast buffets-they even had waffle irons to make your own waffles. We would never stay anywhere else when in Erie. It was also convenient to the beach and Peach Street. Kids loved the hot tub and pool.

The rooms were spotless! I can't give them enough credit to there houskeeping staff!! great job! We must have been near a loading dock or something because we were awaken by the sound of a truck backing up, and constant beeping at 5am! I feel it was over priced. We arrived late, and asked for extra pillows, but they never came. The front desk girl didn't seem like she knew what to do at check in. Come to find out she was a manager assistant!

The only thing I didn't like was the Room we were in was on the second floor right beside the highway. But the service was great and the breakfast staff was so very helpful.

We stayed in a two bedroom suite at the end of November. Breakfast was good, evening meal was excellent. Very clean, close to the mall, and staff were very helpful. We will be staying here again soon.

The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Being right by the MillCreek Mall is a definite plus and you can walk safely to the stores! The breakfast is relly good (you can eat healthy) and there is plenty for everyone. We have stayed here five times in all seasons and highly recommend it!We are heading there again this month.

No issues if you're traveling with pets. The staff went out of their way to accomodate guests with pets. Very clean, very pleasant hotel. Rooms can be pricey on holiday (or soccar tourny)weekends, but found this to be true in ALL of the hotels in the Erie area.
