We were happy with the room, but didn't find the staff friendly...the only one who ever said good morning to us was the lady working in the breakfast room, the rest of them seemed to do just their job and hadn't been trained in customer courtesies. The breakfast on Sat. was fine, but on Sunday, all but the hot foods had NOT been replenished, the same sweet rolls on a half-empty plate, mostly empty cooler for yogurt, and a few sad apples in a bowl, didn't look inviting at all! Would proably stay there again because it's so convenient to our relatives that we visit, but will check out Holiday Inn Express next time.

clean, clean, great home base..for travels

we used this hotel for a little weekend getaway. choice hotels i have found in 99% of cases you dont have to go "look" at the room, we had the whirlpool suite, we had to watch our oldest grandboys, while their parents went to a funeral, our oldest said what luxourious accomadations!!!!! they went home, after supper and swimming. this was the most wonderful room, the pool was clean, everything was great. the breakfast was good too. this is the perfect place to stay to visit the detroit metropolitin area. henry ford, southland mall,fairlane mall, downtown detroit for the casinos, and what? 10 minutes from the airport. would stay there again in a second, rate it all 5 stars.

The best of the best

What we liked about this place is that every room has a pull out couch so that families with more than the average 2 children fit comfortably in the room. The pool is sparkling clean and refreshing and te continental breakfast is over-the-top! I would recommend this hotel to everyone!
