A very pleasant surprise!

I have travelled for work throughout the States, Canada and Europe, and I don't think I would be exaggerating if I said this was the nicest hotel stay I've had in a looooong time. You can't compare it to specialty boutique hotels but for a chain, it was a relief to step into this place.
The surrounding area is very well maintained and quaint, the grounds are nice to look at, the interior is stylish and comfortable, and the room was fantastic to come home to every night of my stay. It was spacious, impeccable, had every feature I needed for comfort including a kitchenette area, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I used the pool facilities every day and was pleased by the cleanliness of the area, and the business center made it very easy to access the internet and a printer at any time of day. Although I didn't partake of the hotel dining room, I hear from other guests that the food was great. I myself partook of the several fantastic restaurants within a two-block radius of the hotel - particularly the Big River Grill (a terrific brew pub).
Lastly, the service was fabulous - everyone from the desk clerk to the caretaker was very friendly and helpful. For my first trip down to this particular area of the States, I had an extremely pleasant stay, and would definitely reocommend this hotel to others.
