We had a very nice stay

We chose Atlantic Inn out of the Traveller magazine as it seemed to be good value for money. We read the reviews posted about this Inn and almost decided not to even go and look at it but we were glad we did. One previous reviewer said it must have changed hands because the previoous reviews had been so awful, and I can confirm that I asked how long the current managers had been there and I think they said approximately nine months.
Although it was not, perhaps, 5-star quality, it was more than adequate for our needs and was very clean. The fridge and microwave were very useful, too. The road noise was very minimal and did not bother us at all.
There are, however, a couple of relatively minor things they might want to consider: There really needs to be some sort of hand hold in the bath/shower as a lot of disabled people need something to steady themselves when having a shower. Although the vertical blinds are very good, there is about a 1-inch gap on either side which could allow someone to see in/out - although it is not very likely (there were no curtains at the window).
As we were visiting friends in the Melbourne/Indiatlantic area, it was very handy for us and I think we would definitely stay there again.
