Howard Johnson JFK Airport, Jamaica

The staff was careless, and very late with the wake up calls (there as an alarm clock in the room, but for some reason the outlet and clock didn't go together and so it never stayed set). It’s over priced for what it offers. The lobby is so small you can’t help but be up in somebody else's space. I was in a nonsmoking room that had an ASHTRAY, and also several cigarette burns in the carpet, as well as Iron burns. The staff was in its own world, unfocused on the needs of the customers. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone who is interested in being comfortable and fully accommodated. When you are out of town you want comfort, and care, and you want to feel welcomed, and return your hotel with a sense of pleasantry, but I felt none of this at Howard Johnson. I say Don’t do it
