I'll be back!
By phunnell, 01/09/08
Great location, especially if you're attending an event at Moscone. All services are excellent and very customer friendly. Room was perfect, beds and linens so very comfortable, down or down-alternative. Great pillows, quiet room and great views of the city. There is a wonderful bar on the top floor with 360 degree views of the city. Room service was also very good, food hot and delicious and reasonably priced considering the hotel and location. The hotel is just a block from major shopping and theatres plus great restaurants. Ask the desk clerks for recommendations on anything-they have great advice and tips. I will continue to book here!

Nice Room, Great Location, Good Service
By tchu_yhoo, 10/10/07
We spent a weekend there in early September 2007. Our room was nicely updated with new bathroom and nice furniture. Had a nice breakfast buffet downstairs in the morning. Service was pleasant and responsive. The location is very conveniently located in downtown and you can easily walk to SFMOMA, Yerba Buena Center, Sony Metreon, Market Street, Union Square, Chinatown. Good Indian restaurant across the street.

Loved my stay at the downtown Courtyard
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/24/07
Just returned from a business trip in SF. Stayed at the Courtyard downtown. This is a very nice newer hotel. It is conveniently located about a mile from The Embarcadaro. The staff is pleasant and quite helpful. Lots of very good restaurants within easy walking distance. The rooms are quiet and clean with comfortable beds. Broadband internet connections are available in the room, with wireless access in the lobby. Highly recommended.

Awesome Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/07/07
This hotel is fantastic. Had a suite and it was beautiful with flat screen tv and free internet, the lobby is extremely nice, food better than you expect by far, the Starbucks is such a nice thing to have inside the hotel and Whispers Bar and Grill was great, we had an amazing bottle of wine and the food was so tasty, hard to believe you are at a Courtyard, this hotel has it going on. Service was so personable. We travel a lot and would recommend this as a top choice in SF. Wow!

Disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/02/07
I really didn't like the fact that the parking was $40 that was just ridiculous. I couldn't believe it. I paid extra for a room because they said it was supposed to be nicer and bigger it was the same size. There was supposed to be a nice view. The only view was all the tall buildings and the busy street. Also I paid cash for parking when I checked out and they still charged my credit card for it.

Rare low stress location
By j, 05/12/06
What marks the hotel is that its located in one of the rare places in SF that you will not feel crowded or like you are running a gauntlet trying to get in and out. One of the downside of other areas of SF is that everyone , tourists , biz traveler and homeless person will be at them. What makes this a gem is that is just slightly off the beaten path about 3 blocks from the main metro lines which during 9 months of the year (not the rainy season of winter) should not be a problem. Its located just on the edges of the Financial District , the Media area of the SOMA , located right next to the CNET Main Offices , and a few blocks from the Ball Park and Moscone Center. A good option for the Tourist or Biz traveler.

Real Estate Convention
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/19/06
I spent a lot of time on the internet trying to find the "right" place to stay in San Francisco. Since I had convinced others to come with me to San Fran for the ERA Real Estate Convention, I wanted the lodging to be ideal. After much consideration for the older, novelty type hotels, I went with my gut feeling and selected the downtown Courtyard. Basically, you know what to expect with Marriott and this was no different. The food was great, the rooms were large, the service was excellent, and the location was great for the downtown SOMA district. This is within easy walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, and the place we went to - the Moscone Center. The pool, spa, and bar were good too. Definitely recommend this those that, like me, always like to know what to expect.

Great hotel...will be back
By Jeremy, 12/17/05
Just recently stayed here on a Priceline bid. Gerat value for what we paid. Service from everyone in the hotel was the quality of a resort. Good location although it was a little bit of a walk to the Muni. Room was nice and the beds rocked!! We didn't really want to get out of bed the next day.
