BEST WESTERN North Inn & Suites, Bastrop

I love the rooms their are so much room to move around, they have awsome service, they are always clean, the location is great cause the Walmart is right by it you dont have to walk across the street their is also a nail shop, a Cato, and a Chinese Restruant their food is great. Then there is a Super 1 Foods right across the street and also a Pizza Hut, all the restruants are rifht by each other, They also have a Freds, Only A Buck, Dollar Store, Radio Shack, Hibats(A sport cloths store. I really enjoyed myself. But they could bring their Prices doen a litte!!!!!! OH! i FORGOT they have a outdoor pool it is fun! Hope you enjoy your visit!!!!

I STAYED AT THIS LOCATION 07/27/05 - 07/31/05. I WAS IN BASTROP FOR A FAMILY REUNION. SATURDAY NIGHT WHEN I RETURNED TO MY ROOM I NOTICED THERE WERE NO CLEAN TOWELS IN THE BATHROOM, AND THE DIRTY TOWELS WERE JUST IN A PILE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BATHROOM FLOOR. I CALLED ROOM SERVICE TO INFORM THEM THAT THERE WERE NO CLEAN TOWELS IN MY ROOM. THEN CLERK TOLD ME THEY WERE OUT OF TOWELS AND THERE WAS NOTHING THAT HE COULD DO ABOUT IT. I ASKED IF HE COULD HAVE SOME TOWELS WASHED AND BRING THEM TO MY ROOM. HE SAID HE DID NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE WASH ROOM. A POLICE OFFICER WAS IN THE PARKING LOT, SO I VOICED MY COMPLAINT TO HIM. I SAT IN THE LOBBY WHILE THE OFFICER TALKED TO THE MOTEL CLERK. THE OFFICER CAME TO THE LOBBY AND TOLD ME THAT THE CLERK TOLD HIM THERE WERE CLEAN TOWELS IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM THAT NEEDED TO BE DRIED, AND THE CLERK WOULD DRY THEM AND BRING THEM TO MY ROOM. THE CLERK LIED TO ME AND TOLD ME HE DID NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE LAUNDRY ROOM. THE YOUNG CLERK HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND NEEDS TO BE TRAINED. I WILL NEVER STAY IN THIS MOTEL AGAIN.
