Country Inn Suites By Carlson Houston-Intercontinental Airport East TX, Humble

I take my two grandsons to this hotel several times a year. We always look forward to the stay. They have a nice in-door pool, a great staff, and we have always had great response to any slight problems that might occur. A GREAT Family-type Hotel.

We came to this hotel looking for a nice place to stay and relax for the evening and judging by the outside of the place we figured it would be a nice place to stay. Don’t let it fool you! We rented a "jacuzzi suite" because it was the last room available. We went into the room and it was a smoking room and we were not informed of this. We then fired up the "jacuzzi" and after relaxing in the tub we looked down and saw clumps of hair floating in the bottom of the tub. As we were disgusted by this we immediately stepped out and I decided to the bathroom to shower and the bathroom handle fell off. As if it didn’t get any worse, when we were sleeping the air conditioning froze up and I woke up in a sweat and attempted to fix it. So I attempted to talk to the manager the next day and tell him about these problems and he couldn’t be reached so I left him a voicemail to tell him about this and he didn’t respond. I couldn’t get a hold of him the next day and he then told me that there was no way that there could be a discount or credit out of the $175 we paid for the night and said that we should have called him during the night when it happened. Don’t let the outside of this place make you think it is nice. It was one of the worst places that I have ever stayed at. I should have never stayed there and a motel six would have been nicer!

My family and I were searching for a place to nice place to stay in Houston but everyone suggested that we stay in Humble. I decided to try Country Inn & Suites, our stay was great. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, affordable and safe hotel look no further. The staff was available to assist us, the parking was well lit and we had great access to the mall and all the resturants in Humble...We will return to this hotel.
