Barons By The Bay Inn-Fairhope, Fairhope

My family and I were taken back by the outside of this Inn/motel because it looked very very very dated, but the inside isn't as bad.(You'll really have to look past the outside which they don't show you in the pictures...) The beds are full size, the bathrooms aren't very roomy, and our toilet made a very loud screeching sound every time it was flushed. However the rooms were very clean and offered a small frig which worked well. If you want bells and whistles offered by large chain hotels then this is not the place for you. But if you like small quaint and personal then this family owned motel/Inn fits the bill perfectly.The Bay .is across the street and there are a few shops and restaurants within walking distance. I gave 3 stars for cleanliness. I really think there should be pictures of the inside & outside of Barons Inn that way people will know exactly what to expect.

This small intimate hotel is in the heart of Fairhope. It is close to shopping and the water, We really enjoyed walking on the waterfront park across the street from this hotel. Rooms well kept and updated. We will be back.

We found this wonderful extremely clean hotel along the bay . The rates were very reasonable and the rooms were very upscale and very large.My wife travels 36 weeks a year and said this was the cleanest hotel she has ever stayed in. I brought my family to Fairhope and stayed at the Barons Inn. The rooms were very clean. Newly remodeled.We walked along the Bay and my daughter caught her first fish.

This hotel is the best hotel weve stayed in. We loved the location near the bay.Neal at the front desk was very knowledgeable of the area.His recommendation of restaurants were excellent.

We attended the Angel Ride in Fairhope this past weekend and stayed at the Barons By The Bay Inn. The rooms were very clean and the servive by Neal was very attentavive. All the restauraunts he recomended we outstanding.The waterfront park across the street has the best sunsets we have ever seen.Thanks again for our memorable stay. We will be back.

We were recommended to stay at Barons Inn from a friend. We usually stay at Holiday Inn but never liked the location.This hotel is the cleanest hotel we ever stayed at.The rooms were far more luxurious than the Holiday Inn and about $40 cheaper.Give this hotel a try you wont be disappointed.The upper floor rooms have a nice view of the water and a place to sit with a glass of wine and watch the sunsets.

We were visiting Fairhope for the first time and ran across a small quaint hotel along the bay called Barons By The Bay Inn.We went to the 5-lane Hwy of Fairhope and did not like the location of the other hotels which were interstate like hotels.The location along the Bay of Barons is excellent and the rooms were very very very clean.I highly recommend this property to anyone.

We were given the rooms that were not remodeled and it was disgusting. We did not feel comfortable even taking our shoes off. We had to stay there that night, but we found a Microtel for the next night. I money was refunded for the night we didn't stay, thank goodness. I didn't get to see the remodeled rooms, but the others are terrible.
