Holiday Inn Convention Center, Managua

Wonderful breakfast!!!! Very Clean!!! Very friendly staff!!!! I'm not in love with the design of the pool, but since is not that deep, there is not fear for kids to play and be in it as long as they want!!!! The service being provided by the restaurant in the pool is magnificent!!!!! Please go and be positive about it, there is not such a thing as perfection even at the best hotel ever, but above it all I had an amazing experiencie of Holiday Inn in Managua....

The female massage therapist at the Managua Holiday Inn gives a "happy ending" for no extra charge. If you want to stay out of trouble, do not get a massage here.

I will like to know if you provide transportation from the Airport to the hotel.

I am an independent travel agent. The hotel was a nice place to stay at in Managua. The room was well kept. The reception person that attended us upon arrival was not very friendly. The others throughout the week were much friendlier. We had issues a couple of times with not enough towels being left in the room. I was kind off disappointed that the hotel only had a restaurant that served “American” style food at higher prices than I could get in the states. It would be ideal for the hotel to have some kind of typical Nicaraguan food available at the hotel, food that patrons could eat and not be afraid of getting sick. They have a sign in the pool area called “churrasqueria” but they don’t sell anything there. I would have bought from them everyday if they had the typical foods. A couple of nights we ordered pizza hut to the hotel because we didn’t want to go out late at night but didn’t want to pay the high restaurant prices. Imagine that…we had pizza hut in Nicaragua. All rooms should include continental breakfast; Nicaragua coffee and a snack. The hotel should invest in a concierge person, someone who could be stationed at the entrance and help people with questions, like were to go to buy lots of water bottles or what are places to visit around Nicaragua. The girl at the Budget desk ended up helping us find all the different places around Managua. Anything I asked her, she gave me CLEAR directions on how to get there. She was fabulous. She made our stay at the hotel so much better. We would have been lost without her. I asked the hotel reception for help, and they handed me the yellow pages…good thing I speak Spanish. Overall, we give the hotel 3 stars. They are good…but there are lots of places they can improve.

food and service was terrific....my rooms air conditioning was not working properly and was moved quickly to another room, no questions asked. the breakfast is great with american and Nicaraguin dishes served daily.

I've been to a lot of hotels in Managua, and this is BY FAR, the best of all. The service is amazing, and in a country like Managua safety is important as well and there are lots of security surrounding the hotel to insure our safety. The food is incredible, delicious!

I was expecting my fathers Holiday Inn, but found an excellent hotel, large rooms, great service and centrally located. With a great restaurant menu, a casino, large pool, car rental and tour operator, this place will find all your requests.

Great service by the hotel staff, receptionists need some work. Clean rooms, Pool service at any time of the hour (take advantage of service). Excellent experience.

No internet, the bathtub drain was broken, the double beds are just as big as the single, they didn't provide us with a complimentary breakfast, no free daily news paper was delivered to our room, the extras were at unreasonable prices, none of the 4 ice macines worked, the pool has sharp edges which cut my foot, and very little respect was shown. Basically this hotel did not live up in any way to the standards of The Holiday Inn.

Stayed here for 5 nights while in country to visit in-laws family. This hotel, although "only" a Holiday Inn Select is set up and operating like a 4 - 5 star hotel. Extremely friendly and attentive service. Rooms are to a US Standard and the hotel is very clean and secure. Also, the pool is beautiful. Cabs are easy to find and the location is fairly central.
