Extended Stay America Miami-Coral Gables, Miami

This is the cheapest hotel I could find around the Coral Gables area that looked/sounded decent. I called up and spoke to Lewis who was so friendly and efficient and booked us in without problem. This is a Fantastic location for Miracle Mile or a quick taxi ride away from Cocowalk! Excellent customer service! Our room was big and clean! The only thing was we were woken up by someone's pet scratching on their door in the morning, the walls are quite thin.

Limited Office Hours for "Onsite corporate management team": M-F 9-5 No Pool / Jacuzzi Limited Work Out Hours: M-F 9-5 Limited Business Center Hours: M-F 9-5 1 TV, not a "Cable TV in every room" as advertised No "Terraces and balconies for your enjoyment" in some apartments Very nice furnishings... looks upscale. However, the walls are thin: children can be heard running around and it is loud when neighbors move their furniture. What bothered me the most is the lack of customer service. The "office" is on the second floor in what is supposed to be an apartment and the limited hours make it difficult for someone who works 9-5 M-F to get hold of anyone should they need any assistance. I was told that the gym would have extended hours a week ago and they keep pushing back the date, knowing that many residents are unhappy with the limited business/office/gym hours (which are all in the same room). Staff shows up late and closes early. Overall, an OK experience. I didn't feel I was getting my money's worth because I was only able to use the gym once... when I managed to come home early one day from work. Cleaning staff is very friendly.
