Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Ocean City, Ocean City

Room was small, bed was terrible, mattress felt like it was over 20 yrs old. No place to sit outside, felt confining. Way overpriced, much nicer hotels in the area for less.. the outside pool looked nice I didn't use it. I have stayed at holiday inn's in the past, usually they are very nice. I think this one needs a remodel. However, the Green Turtle is a great bar to go to! Also, Lenny's beach bar is fantastic! I highly recommend all you eat crab legs and prime rib buffet at the Clarion on 101st st. absolutly fabulous!

My family and I stayed here April 29 and departed May 1 with complete DISGUST!Our room door gave the appearance that it was shut and locked, but in fact it wasn't locking properly due to a faulty spring in the door lock. We were robbed Sat. evening. We had to file a police report and get items fingerprinted. The night deskclerk must have been new and was inexperienced with this kind of situation and called in the hotel auditor, John, (who knows if that was even his real name) to pretend he was the "Hotel Manager" (who obviously had no training in hotel management). The pretend Hotel manager only made the situation worse with his unsympathetic attitude and unprofessional behavior. We did not get one apology from the night staff...No "im sorry this happened to you", no..."what can we do to help you"....nothing. In a situation like this, the last thing you need is to deal with staff who do not come to work with a concientious attitude to make customer service a top priority. Needless to say, my children and I will not be staying at this hotel ever again. I realize Hotel Managment can't help what kind of guests stay at their facilities (there were guests intoxicated, loud, and the hallways smelled like marijuana) but they do control who they hire and who represents their company. The fact that the OC Police were there on two separate incidents this past weekend speaks volumes of what kind of estalishment this place really is. PLEASE PICK ANOTHER HOTEL FOR SAFETY REASONS! There are other Hotels in OC who I'm sure provide a safer environment. - A mother of two young boys who traveled a long distance for a ruined vacation. ******* BEST OF LUCK ON YOUR HOTEL SEARCH AND GOD BLESS!!!********

Spent Sun through Thursday August 2007. I reserved the room in March and saved $60/day off the rack rate. We ask for a rooom with a view was placed on 3rd floor of 5 story building with a view of the front parking lot. 2 Queen beds, mini fridge, mini microwave (turntable did not work)sort of small room; half the rooms are 5 feet shorter than the rest - if you can order the larger room. Beach is under 2 blocks away, while the west side have access to a large baseball/soccer park with walking trails, playstructures, and a long deck takes you out to see the bay. In the bay noticed crabs and jellyfish. Good breakfast kept stocked, great cinnamon rolls but no meat and only hard boiled eggs. The outside pool was nice, a indoor pool and spa were shallow and small, warm but no live jets. Had to share parking spaces with multiple restaurants

i lykd it all but i didnt lyk how they wernt that clean and their sercvice and they maids attitudes i really lyked the way the veiws were and the manager was actlually nice i also lyked the price they were giving it out on and the way it looked but i think the pool could be better and some re cunstruction would b nice

We stayed here last week for our vacation. The beds were comfy, they give you soft and firm pillows ( they even have it embroidered so you know which is which) the have soft blankets ont he bottom of the beds. The room we had was perfect for the 2 of us. We got the two king sized beds so we threw our stuff on one and used the other to sleep. We had a microwave, small frisfe which had a freezer in it, but dont turn the temp down too much, it will freeze everything. We also had a small set of wall cabinets. The bathroom was very clean along with everything else. IF you dont care if you have a water view, this is a good hotel. CLose to beach. walk across the hwy and down a block and there you are. Two restaurants are right outside the hotel.

This hotel is absolutely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. My husband, son and I stayed in one of these hotels in Vt. for the first time in 2003 and were so impressed with cleanliness and the breakfast spread is out of this world. It makes your stay that much cheaper when you can have your breakfast for free! We decided last year to visit our honeymoon spot of Ocean city, MD. to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary and knew we'd stay in none other than a Holiday Inn Express if possible. We were thrilled to find one with a room available. It was to our liking or shall I say loving :) again. The staff was amazing, the girls who were working the front desk were so friendly to my son and just so awesome. We love everything about your hotel. We are planning another trip the weekend of May 18th to celebrate our 12th ann. on the 20th and our pleased to introduce our newest addition..our son of 6 months as well. We are fans for LIFE!!!

I loved everything about the hotel. It was close to all of the nearby eateries. We found the staff to be very friendly, and we will be coming back to stay once again.

The location was fine, nice bay view and only had to cross coastal hwy for beach access. Room was small but very clean. Room was made up fresh and prompt everyday. Pool was beautiful, especially at night. Pool towels provided. Nice park with crab fishing right behind hotel. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Not a party hotel, all families. Decent breakfast.
