Motel 6 Harrisburg, Harrisburg

I like almost everything about this place. It is a nice location only five minutes from Hershey Park.

I just returned from what was supposed to be a great vacation to Hershey, PA. We stayed at your hotel based on your website advertising. What a nightmare!!! We should have left immediately upon our arrival, since it took us almost 30 minutes to check in. This hotel is a one man show. The manager, Bruce, was at the front desk giving directions to someone on the phone, while answering other phone lines and asking callers to hold. Meanwhile, I am standing in front of him, while he is juggling these calls as well as his personal cell phone. I decided to give this man a chance, thinking it was break time for his other employees.(No others surfaced for the duration of my 2 days) After checking in, we proceeded to the most basic, scaled down room imaginable. There was no shampoo/conditioner in the basthroom. No indication that the bathroom had been cleaned from the prior guest such as sanitary notices on the tub or toilet. The room lacked basic ammenities, such as a listing of places to eat/shop/go in the area. Our room was never attended to on the following day, we had to take our own trash out to a garbage pail in hallway, the towels were not replaced or even refreshed. The advertised breakfast was ridiculous! The waffles were defrosted frozen ones, which would have been fine, had the toaster worked. The coffee was nothing but coffee grinds. There was no butter to be used on any of the mini bagels. The morning of my checkout, the front desk was vacant for over 20 minutes. I had to stand and wait for Bruce to show up and take my room keys. I have never before seen such a horrendously organized hotel. Not only will I never stay at this hotel chain again, I have told friends who planned a recent trip to Hershey to stay away!!! What a disapointment. The pictures advertised were untrue, as were the extras (newspaper, cookies,HBO) Not worth ruining your vacation by staying here.

Well, what is there to say about the Ramada Limited? Every year our cheerleading team, the Es-m Eagles and Ces hotshots went there. We always had so much fun. And the staff in the hotel were very nice. We hope to return there soo. The conditions were perfect! - Danielle and Kristy

WOW. Two Words....Stay Away. Thaths incredible to believe i just got back from my vacation in Harrisburg Hershey. I have never had so much fun at a hotel as this one. The front desk staff were very helpful and pollite. George at the front desk was very helpful and very nice person. Thank You Guys at the Ramada....I'll See You Next Year!
