Not bad, ok area...would probably stay again.
My family of 4 visited this hotel due to my husband's work travels in the HS area. Of course, they paid for it, not us. Our room was nice, simple and seemed to be clean. The heat worked very well! Our kids used the pool and it was clean and cool, but the room was very warm. They loved it! I especially liked how we didn't have to use our towels at the pool area. The bathrooms were clean, with plenty of towels. The breakfast area is roomy and they do have a selection. We love the waffle stations, and this one had 2! We didn't find any meat selection, and the eggs weren't real, but there was plenty to choose from and the fruit was good. So, overall, no one starved at breakfast time! (And, hey....it's "free"!) The Dixie Cafe is on premises, which is VERY good! There is also a Walgreen's, if you forget things.
The one downfall....the noisy "kids" that rented a room next to us. Come about 9-10pm, they used the metal latch to hold the room open to enter without key and let the door slam each time they walked through, which was about every 2-3 minutes. This vibrated our whole room. I called the front desk a couple of times to report them, but we never heard anyone come to see about it, and we were ground floor right by the office! So, you know they heard it!! Eventually, they left for the evening and we were able to sleep...TV on, heat on....white noise!
Positive side....I didn't notice I left my phone charger until I returned home, another 2 1/2 hrs away. I just called and a lady at the desk took my info, said it was there, and promised to mail it to me! I really hope that it does come! That is good customer service!!
