Dishonest business practices
By Elvis, 5/13/07
The hotel seemed fine at first, but... After staying there a few days, we decided that we did not want the breakfast any more because it was a bit pricey. So we went down and told and told the woman at the front desk ("Christina Wang") that we were not going to take the breakfast any more and we wanted the room only (i.e. not room+breakfast which is more expensive). She said okay, then added that if we wanted any more breakfasts, then we would need to tell her 24 hours in advance. We said no more. But to no avail. When we checked out, we found out that they continued to charge us for the breakfasts. So we asked about it, and then Christina said that we were supposed to tell her each day that we did not want the breakfast for the next day. Not only was she lieing, but her lie is inconsistent because if that were the case, then at least we shouldnt have been charged for the first day that we told her we didnt want any more. Christina was unwavering in her argument. When a friend of mine came to ask her about it who is a native Chinese speaker, Christina called the hotel guard on my friend. This is deceptive and dishonest business practices. I will never stay at a Ramada again.

My Wuhan regular
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/2/07
Have stayed here a number of times over the past 6 months. Excellent service each time (except slow when ordering cocktails), rooms are clean and location is good for transport, airport bus terminal is right next door. Swimming pool is also very clean. Beds are very hard but they are everywhere in Wuhan. Grand View restaurant has the best chocolate fountain I've tried in China. Will stay here every time when in Wuhan.

a hoteliers viewpoint

I just attended a Hotel Conference at the Ramada Wuhan.I was expecting a dissapointing experience typical of interior Cities.I was pleasantly surprised that it had good service, service and cleanliness.Prices could have been a bit more reasonable though not at Shanghai or Guangzhou levels. I understand the hotel was one of the better ones in the Ramada system.Room was comfortable and convenient to the City center

Wuhan I have studied in Wuhan for almost three years. Wuhan, in my eyes, is a very prosperous city of business. Though very modern, it stills attracts many tourists for its rich history and natural beauties. But to me, the Huhan snacks are the most appealing. actually, if you travel to Wuhan, you will find that Wuhan snacks are a little spicy but very tasty. Many specialities of Wuhan enjoy a long long history. lets see some famous snacks in Wuhan. A Dry and hot noodles well known in China, dry and hot noodles is considered as a very typical food in Wuhan. Wuhan citizens eat it every morning and are never sick of it. The cuisine is very easy, but it is very tasty and savory B Duck neck C Doupi
