Poor and unprofessional Service

Let's start of by saying the staff needs a renovation! Overall the hotel and amenities are basic/standard. Rates are non competitive and the hotel management really needs to understand the meaning of "hospitality". When compared to their sister hotel, the Comfort Suites Oakbrook, IL, you just can't beat them. Wonderful staff, excellend spotless suites and a Hot American breakfast to die for and you pay at least $10 less per night.
The Lombard location needs to spend a day at the Oakbrook location, or at least the manager needs to steal some tips off them!
My problem with the hotel was they could not do anything about the party going on to the room next to me and neither they gave me even a basic 10% discount. In fact, when I called to talk to the manager, I was told to call back. How about taking a message and you calling me back? I understand it is not hotel's fault if the next door people are loud, but at least show some empathy and concern for your guests.
Other than the incompetitent staff, I think my 2 night stay there was ok. But hotel means hospitality and I think the Oakbrook Comfort Suites define hospitality.
