Super 8 Orange City, Orange City

Clean room, quiet hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice comfy bed. I have stayed in other Super 8's before and wasn't sure I would stay at one again, but this one was very nice. We would definately stay here again the next time we visit NWC in Orange City.

I decided to give a review when I read that Super 8 charged $69.99 to other people too. We also got the rate of $52 online but when we got to the hotel they told us that it was only an online price and that their room rate was $69.99 period. We paid the $69.99. While it was difficult to understand some things because they don't speak well, they were nice and we had a decent stay. We are going again (Jan 2011) and called the Dutch hotel and their rate is $62 so we will be staying at the Dutch hotel this time.

y friends came to visit me at College this weekend and we chose this hotel because it was the cheapest and closest to my college. We booked our reservations online and it said we would pay 52.99 a night when we got there they said we would be paying 69.99 a night we showed them the website said 52.99 and they said that site is old and we shouldn't go by that and if we didn't like the price we should pack our bags and leave. The hotel is managed by an Arab family that only knows minimal english and we couldnt understand anything they were saying to us.we ended up paying 69.99 a night just because we felt like they were going to kick us out if we argued anymore.The whole time we were very polite to them but they did not listen to us.The room also smelled horrible.PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!

My husband was traveling for work and I received a call at 3:30pm the afternoon he was supposed to arrive at this hotel. The clerk told me that they couldn't honor the reservation that he had booked over a week earlier because they were having carpet installed in the rooms. He was traveling with another male co-worker and they wanted to know if they could share a room with ONE queen size bed. Needless to say my husband and he co-worker had to call the Dutch Colony Inn and get rooms since Super 8 doesn't seem to understand what a reservation is!!! Luckily there were available rooms at the other hotel because there aren't that many choices for hotels in the area.

MOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN AND A GREAT VALUE! LOVED THE COMPUTER IN THE LOBBY TO CHECK MY EMAIL. ORANGE CITY IS A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT, AND THERE IS A NEW DEVELOPEMENT ALL AROUND THE MOTEL THAT INCLUDES DENTIST, AND NEW HOSPITAL. MY ROOM HAD A RECLINER AND FRIDGE.
