Comfort Inn and Suites Atlanta Galleria, Smyrna

This has been by far the worst hotel I have ever rented from..We had a total of 6 different rooms..and every last room was dirty, had jumping bugs in there...roaches..mold and mildew on the shower curtains, microwave inside at the top..look like it wasnt never clean.....toliets was dirty....one toliet in one of the rooms didnt work...we went to the front desk to report it....and they gave us a plunger and basically told us to fix it ourselves......My mother and grandmother had to go to walmart to purchase cleaning supplies to clean all 6 rooms that we had..Stairs wells and elevators were filthy..I am a solider in the US Army...just got back from Iraq....and coming to live in a plce like that...made me feel like I was stilling living in Iraq......It is not worth the money at all....It was so bad...I even took pictures and if I could find away to upload them to this...I would!!!

During a week long training session my company had, we were setup to stay at the hotel and I found it to be rather nice. The evening front desk staff was very helpfull and the rooms were fine. The maintenance staff could try to caulk the tubs better(rather sloppy) and they might want to give you at least HBO at a minimum. I travel a lot and found that this hotel was quite a bargain for what we paid. The rooms came with microwaves, fridges, irons, coffee makers and anything else you may want. In fact We are headed there again in April and I have to say it is much better than the one in Dallas.

So much better than the hotel across the street! Best hotel in the area, and great rooms! They really care about you here, ask for Jeff, he is the GM!

At check in, the front desk person said my room number aloud (lack of basic training.) I reserved non-smoking but was given a smoking room. Well, actually, she insisted that was a non-smoking room but someone violated the rule. It's kinda hard to 'violate' the rule if there is no sign to indicate the room is non-smoking??? She did not mention the breakfaxt which I found out about at my check-out after the first night. I switched to Holiday Inn just 3 exits away that was a big difference. I will not recommend any of the hotels around this Comfort Inn, as they seem to be running at similar standards. I suggest anyone to consider paying just $10-15 more to stay one of the hotels, including holiday inn express, at exit 19. Pool is only inside. The other reviewer who mentioned in/outside pool maybe talking about some other hotel.

I reserved 4 non-smoking rooms, when we got there we got the last 4 remaining rooms of which only 1 was non-smoking. The room my husband and I stayed in reeked of smoke and vinegar(I guess they cleaned with vinegar)Also, when I sat on one of the double beds(we were to have queen beds in all 4 rooms) the bed fell in the floor. (I'm 130 lb.) The slats were broken under the bed. Also, 2 of the lamps had no light bulbs, the remote didn't work for the tv. The next morning as husband was taking a shower, we noticed we had no towels. We went to the lobby to let them no of our dissatisfaction. We left and spent the day at six flags. When we returned that evening, nothing had been done about any of the problems with our room. We went back to the front desk to report our trouble with the room and this time we were given a different room. The new room was perfect, clean, towels, lights that worked, remotes that worked. The service was terrible, if you are looking for friendly service, this is definitely not the place to stay. Also, for a hotel that is only 3 years old, it was not in great condition. The ceiling over the bathroom in our first room was peeling off and the elevators were nasty. The staff really didn't seem to care if you were comfortable or not.

when we arrived at the location our rooms were rented out. We were sent across the street to an unacceptablr hotel. There was no elevators and the floors were dirty. We then had to travel 7 miles to another Comfort Inn.
