Budget Suites of America Tropicana, Las Vegas

Pick-pockets, thieves, liars and thugs. Protected criminal class preying on the lower middle class. If you value your money, safety, health and happiness go elsewhere. Everything they tell you is a lie, and they don't give your money back. In fact they charge you a fee just for confronting them about their crimes. Watch out for the police, the management uses LV as their hired goons to break the legs of complainers. There should be a no star or negative star rating.

this place is full of hookers , drunks ,druggies , while at the pool trying relax after work the drinking of boose is rediclous clouds of smoke filling my lungs makes me sick , why does the computer tec, guy steve alowed to take gallons of vodka and oj out to the pool, when there is a sign on the gate stating no beverages, along with the pool guy dave and several others stumble all over the place they cant even walk , they are very rude took my stuff off the chair and placed it on the ground so they could have the seat they think they own the place ,closing to say they need to check there employees and office staff all need a corse in maners! how can they think there better then anyone.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE .. The manager IS THE WORST ONE!!SHE IS DISTROYING THE REPUTATION OD THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...THE MANGER IS TREATING CUSTOMERS AS ANIMALS! NEVER AGAIN!

It's a dump and has had years of neglect. It's not clean. When we asked to leave, would not refund our money. People stand around outside their doors and smoke. Apts reek of smoke.

MANY of the Budget Suites here in Las Vegas are well.... DUMPS.. for a lack of a better word. Poor management (to say the least) dingy rooms, out dated paint/wallpaper/carpeting/etc so old... who knows what is growing in it.. BUT if you are talking about the 8440 Las Vegas Blvd So. Location.. its a bit of a different story.... i PERSONALLY have lived there on extended stay.. under THREE different owners and THREE different managements, all of which, we're average.. but you can not expect 5 star resort customer service from a 3 star motel. BEYOND that... it really is a decent little location... clean rooms, decent property lay out (not TOO large), close to the library, many stores, including groceries, fast food, convenience stores, restaurants.... pretty much all you could need. as long as at the time the price range is in your budget.....i would recommend it.

I was peppersprayed and hand cuffed for doing little more than complaining about there bogus internet access and taking a picture of their stupid evil manager. (I did this to show corporate who kicked me out, just for complaining about their bogus internet access) The cop (they called) should have arrested the security guard for misdeameaner assault. After allowing their security guard to take my picture; they agreed only to release me if I had signed a misdeamenor tresspass warning from the hand cuffs they had put me in. (I was sucker sprayed; before I could even realize what hit me the security guard handcuffed me to him. He blindly led me to a chair and then handcuffed me to it. I was not allowed to rinse my eyes out in the rest room. I was forced to wait an hour for the peremedics they called. I then had to wait another hour for the officer they called "via dispatch". I eventually had to call my credit card company to get the additional week I had paid in advance refunded. I had seen an oriental fellow in the same boat I had eventually ended up in. I had just assumed that "it was his fault". I wish I could apologize to him for not calling the police when he asked me too. I ended up in the same boat. I just kept asking politely for people to call the police when they had did it to me. I had stayed at the one off of Rancho. It is not easily found off of google; but it's there.

I moved in long term and I am a student so living next door to a library was outstanding! Grocery store and post office next door as well. It is EXTREMELY convenient. Staff? AWESOME!! They are friendly, accepting, professional, always smiling and happy and quick to help you. This place is so clean, even the area where the dumpsters are located is quite spiffy!! I have not seen one cockroach anywhere - inside or out. The laundry facility was clean beyond words and machines well maintained! Couldn't do any better! Love this place!

I stayed at the budget suites in September 2008, and was put out with my two children because Dana thougth she was a slavemaster. These people are low class and run an establishment not based upon care and concern, but rather for the almighty dollar$ I would like anyone that wants to reveal their information, and or names for the purpose of a class action lawsuit to contact me please at hisgrace2005@hotmail.com. I have been taking these people to court since it happened and it seems like the judge whose department my complaint was handled in either is a secret partner or is plain ignorant to the law. They think that are a hotel and they can pick and choose when they can put people out without notice. There have been records that validate them putting you out with notice and without cause. However, I have had to fight because the uninformed judge said it was a hotel. This is sad, to have a place so full of filth and have the nerve to think that they are running a first class resort. My friend and i stayed at budget suites on Rancho Drive in Las Vegas and the toilet didn't work, air conditioner broke and WORST of all, we got BED BUGS! ya, seriously, there beds and rooms are INFESTED with bugs, microscopic bugs, DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT STAY AT BUDGET SUITES, We had to go to the doctor today and who knows, maybe we'll see budget suites management in court.

I am in BSOA right now. This place is scam!! They shut down water TWICE in a WEEK without notice. If you try to complain about this to the office, they hang up on you. There was a room got broken into about 3 weeks ago. They lost all their electronic stuffs and a dog, but no police showed up & security didn't do anything with it. People pay money to stay here and they treat us like a sh*t. One more thing, I saw one review got 3 stars in Yahoo Travel Review,whoever wrote that review, he or she's gotta be from BSOA or totally out of their mind. Othewise, you can't give it three stars!!
