Great Place
By ShariA, 08/23/09
Great place. Check in fine. Our first time in a timeshare. $600 for 7 nights. Great location. Had the two bedroom suite. Tv in each bedroom and a flat panel in living room. Kitchen stocked with everything for cooking. Colander, frying pan, baking sheet, measuring cups and spoons, blender, toaster, micro, dishwasher with detergent, grater, dishware, silverware, serving and cooking utensils, washer/dryer and detergent, sponges, pot holder, towels, paper towels, pitcher, ice maker. It was great. Ask for 3 floor as floors must be made of balsa wood, only real complaint. When you leave you throw out garbage and start dishwasher. Oh, iron and board, vaccuum, safe. Pool and jacuzzi were nice. Pretty place, had a beer and burger at bar. Good location, we went to winery, Ripleys, Busch garderns, water country, the mystery dinner theater at Clarion. Also really liked 2nd Street Bistro, off the main drag. Did the Naval Base Harbor cruise in Hampton. Very nice tour. Would highly recommend the Wyndam. Oh, they called once or twice, but I didn't answer and they didn't leave message.

LOVED IT!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/09/08
I absolutly loved it. It was so clean and the location was only like a couple minutes away from Williamsburg. The only thing was that the lines to get in we crowded but then again we didn't arrive at the time! But you should soooo stay here if you are ever going to be in Williamsburg!!!

Awesome
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/07
Oh man, my husband and I were invited down by my mom and her husband. When we got there, we were shocked because we had no idea what was going on. We got in the room and it was like a little apartment! We didnt drive down, so we were kind of stranded, so we got up and walked around while my parents slept. My husband went to the gym (he loved it) and then we walked with our son to the activity center. They have 2 game rooms, 3 pools and a resturant. They also have a few tennis areas and I think they had a basketball court. The resturant was a little over priced, I recommend bringing your own food. We went to a family crab fest for dinner.

mixed review
By karin, 07/20/07
Checkin was horrible - called ahead to confirm time unit available - still had to wait 1 1/2 hours after we got there to get a room. Clean, convenient location, nice landscaping. HOWEVER, crowded, crowded, crowded...the pools were always full (!)...although did like the putt putt course. Had trouble getting computer time - 2 days the server was down completely. Worst - the kitchen was tiny...AND had a combination microwave/convection oven - mounted high over the stove - I was unaware (couldn't see into it) and no instructions about it's use were readily available! DANGEROUS!!! - not an OBVIOUS Convection oven - looked just like a microwave. No way to bake - no 9x12 pans... Overall - a mixed review - definitely not the best Wyndham experience we've had.

Highly overrated
By William, 05/23/07
I disliked the fact that there was no maid service. I disliked that they would not let me check in until 3:00. There were 20 or more in line. Check-in took 45 minutes. There as a $5 amenities fee per day which they required you pay prior to checkin. This was not explained in advance and was not negotiable. There was no manager on site to dispute it with. Rooms were dingy and the bed was not that comfortable. There was no coffee the second day. You had to wash your own towels and make your own bed.

Great Trip with the Kids!
By Geralyn, 07/07/06
We rented a 2 BR/2 BA for $480/4 nights. Great price! Room was in excellent condition. Kids loved bathing in the jacuzzi. Colonial Williamsburg as well as Richmond Ave. were 5 minutes away; Busch Gardens & Water Country were 10 minutes away; Jamestown & Yorktown were 15 minutes away. Nice pool with mini-golf, game rooms, exercise room and food available for purchase. The staff was very accommodating. We will definitely return!

Fairfield Williamsburg at Kingsgate
By Regalo, 03/23/06
The 1BR unit in which I stayed was beautifully decorated with Thomasville cherrywood furniture, set amidst hunter green carpeting, ivory walls, and a burgundy fruit motif throughout. The bathroom was spacious and bright with the washer and dryer enclosed in a separate closet. All of the appliances ran so quietly that it never mattered what time of day or night I had them going. With the exception of food, shampoo, and toothpaste, EVERYTHING is provided for at this resort. Should a visitor ever find that something was forgotten (like film--heehee), there is a gigantic K-mart just down the road. Don't feel like cooking breakfast? Feel like ordering-in Pizza tonight? Wanna have a fun yet relaxed day just hanging around the resort? Great answers to all these questions can be found inside your visitors' packet. Helpful maps, fun free weekly activities, plenty of coupons and more are provided within. The resort has many wonderful amenities like a gym, sauna, tennis court, whirlpool, miniature golf course, and indoor and outdoor pools. In addition to all this, visitors couldn't ask for a better location. The property is close to many tourist attractions like Colonial Williamsburg (2 miles), Jamestown (8 miles) and Yorktown (12 miles). The resort staff is comprised of the friendliest, most helpful people around and security is on duty 24/7.

It's good...
By Creme de la Creme, 09/09/05
I went to this resort with my ex last summer. We used his timeshare. It was a very nice place. The resort was beautiful, like apartments. They have a huge pool, video rental, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, game room, billiards, etc. There were lots of things to do. I especially like our room which had a balcony, king size bed, kitchen, living room, and a jacuzzi in the bathroom. This place is really nice. It was kind of creepy in the early morning hours (between 5am-8am) when the sun is getting ready to rise. It gets foggy and is really creepy because there are woods surrounding the resort. The reason I say that is because of Williamsburg's rich history (plantations, slavery, Jamestown, etc). The only thing I didn't like about the rooms was that all the rooms have a door (which can be locked on either side) to connecting rooms in case you are traveling with a huge family, you can go to each other's rooms without going into the hallway. The reason why I think this is a negative is because if you have a large family living in the resort apartment next to yours, you can hear if they make a lot of noise (through the door). It can make you mad especially when you're there to get your romance on and you here children in the apartment next to yours, which what happened with us.

Gorgeous and convenient!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/12/05
We took a chance on this place because they were running a "4th night free" special and we were wonderfully surprised. Our 2-bdrm unit was in excellent condition, beautifully decorated in colonial colors and styles, and came with many amenities. It gave us room to spread out at the same price of many single hotel rooms, was quite convenient to Busch Gardens, and was within walking distance of several restaurants. We'd definitely go back.
