surprised!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/12/08
My last visit to this hotel was 5 years ago, there's coffeemaker in the room, iron and board, pen and memo pads, everything changed i was surprised. Hallway stinks, I wish the management will bring back all the amenities that the guest needs.

It was a very nice hotel. Yes there was some construction going on during our stay but it didn't interfear with us. Great location, freindly staff and the room was very clean.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/24/07
If you're on a budget, this is a great place to stay. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the price was very reasonable. The location was also great as there was everything you could need within a short walk.

Outstanding!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/12/06
New Ownership has totally refurbished the rooms. Of course it is not the 4 Seasons, it is a Knights Inn! However the service was great, cleanliness was great, internet connection was great, and great continnental breakfast with waffles, croissants and fresh fruit! The owner/manager went out of his way to meet all our needs. Location is great, right on Yonge St (where most everything is) just a few miles outside of downtown Toronto. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to my friends!

it was a real pleasure and treat to see the new owners
By Stephen, 2/10/06
We have been frequenting your motel for several yrs now and let me say there was a noticeable difference in the cleanliness, odor, upgrades, and staff was pleasant. The last 2yrs in particular, this motel was going down in all the above areas. Lamps were broken, clocks were either broken or missing altogether, faucets leaking, toilets overflowing and on one visit....Why we still frequent your motel is beyond understanding. Maybe because the price was decent and we are frequent guests due to many visits at the Sick Chidrens' Hospital. Once again.... it was a real pleasure and treat to see the new owners making an effort to keep up with the neverending mtce and upgrades. Thank You.

Great Turn around
I have used the hotel previously for my business travels to R.H. area. Previously, the only benefit of the hotel for me was the location, since my clients are located next to the hotel. Now, I think the management of the hotel has been changed and wow, what a turn around! The hotel is much cleaner and the manager was exceptionall polite in dealing with minor problems. The overall value is excellent. I definitely recommend the hotel, now.

Great service under new management
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/16/05
This ain't no Four Seasons hotel, but the rooms were comfortable and the service was great. The new owner/mangement was very friendly and eager to please. Overall, I think this was a good place to stay and I would definitley go back. As for the comment about a rapist living in the hotel, it was completly fabricated. Whoever worte the review sounded like he/she had a personal agenda. Just to be fair, Knights Inn is a good place to stay if you are looking for a clean, convenient and inexpensive hotel. But, if you are looking for a 5star hotel, you might want to try Four Seasons downtown.

Not First Class But Does The Job
By Swift-Type, 9/1/05
This is not the place to stay if you are looking for first class service. The service was good, we can't complain about that. We were only using it to sleep there, so we weren't too fussy. The bathroom could have been cleaner; the tub was old and there was peeling paint on the wall in the bathroom. We needed a cot and the poor lady had to bring it up the stairs as the elevator was broken. The cot had seen better days. The patio door in our room (on the main floor) was cracked which could pose a risk. Like I said, we were there to relax in the room, so sleeping was our only focus and it did the trick. They don't offer government rates on the weekend so we paid $99.00 for 4 adults and 1 teen.
