Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Ashland, Ashland

Stay enroute from L.A. to Tacoma for one night. Very clean and freindly service. Not much around there, but a GREAT Mexican resturant next door. A must to eat at if staying at the hotel.

I was hopeful when we pulled into the parking lot. But after we found our room our stay here was very disappointing. We were placed on the bottom floor across from the pool. The noise seemed to come into our room from everywhere, the pool, people walking up and down the hallway, even people driving by outside. We had to buy earplugs in order to get most of the noise out. I could hear the conversation from the people staying in the room above us. I'm not a light sleeper nor do I go to bed early. That weekend however was impossible to get restful sleep. We asked to be moved but it was a busy weekend and there were no other available rooms. Our room was not made up the next day and when we spoke to the front desk they told us "well you know it's just hard to find good help these days." I blinked a couple of times and waited for them to tell me they would send someone right away. I finally had to ask if someone would come to make up our room. No one ever came. The free continental breakfast was alright. But you have to get there early or most of the food is gone. I would not stay here or recommend anyone else to stay here.

My room was not ready at 3pm check in and smelled like old food and had hair in the sink drain drain. The carpets in the hall on the third floor had stains and smelled. The desk staff was inexperienced and just didn't have good customer service skills at check in or check out. There are alot of options in the area and I would not stay here again.

Nice hotel for a night's stop going north on I-5 at Ashland, Or. You must drive to restaurants, etc. But great for short stay....nice breakfast in the a.m. TR

This motel is clean, modern and sees to all of your needs. We chose a suite with Jacuzzi bathtub. Our overnight stay was wonderful and we enjoyed the high speed internet. We almost forgot we were returning from the sunshine of Florida to the snow and ice of the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. Breakfast was provided as part of our stay and was fresh with plenty of choices. The service personnel do an excellent job of cleaning up. Although our internet provided directions were confusing, the location is easy to find and right off of I-95.
