Bella Vista Suites, Lake Geneva

We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary at Bella Vista. The room was clean and well appointed, with upgraded towels and bedding. The location was superb... close to town, shopping and restaurants with a great view of the lake. We would highly recommend it.

Ok i have to say i loved this place. I stayed here for my honeymoon 2 years ago. The staff was so helpful and curtious in accomodating our needs and setting up events for us. Our room had a patio that overlooked the lake which i loved, the only bad thing was there was a bee's nest above our patio which i suppose we could've called to get it removed but they didn't bother us. The hotel itself is beatiful especially at night the view from outside all lit up it looks amazing, my room was decorated with rose petals on the bed and in the bathrooms and even the kitchen counters. the breakfast basket was a really nice surprise too. being right on the lake and in the middle of Lake Geneva, I would recommend this place to anyone. It was expensive, but definately worth the price. I mean I wasn't expecting to get much cheaper being that we were right on the lake. In fact, I'm trying to get hubby to take me back this year for our anniversary.

We were on our anniversary looking for a nice, quiet getaway and ended up very disappointed their so called suites are in bad shape, dirty and not very comfortable bed. For the price that we paid it lacked our expectations. The only good thing out of it is we checked out The Mill Creek and were very impressed with the 2 person jacuzzi suites and the cleanliness. And they're within steps of Downtown LG. We have learned our lesson the hard way and hope this review will help you to avoid wasting your money at Bella Vista.

I will say the the place was impressive when you walked in the front door. Nice outdoor veranda, beautiful lobby with fish. However, the staff was very unfriendly. Said our "luxurious " suite would accommodate 4. (we had three people). Bedroom had one king- tiny living room had the worst ever queen sofa bed and you had to move away the coffee table to open it! Continental breakfast consisted of packaged bagels, canned fruit, botttled juice. Our jacuzzi in the bathroom was in a regular sized bathtub, and didn't work. Limited parking available on grounds, so you had to park underneath the hotel, which was "creepy." I will say it was clean and the location can't be beat. But if you want a hotel with a pool - this one is inside and no windows. And all this for $179 on a weeknight - no thanks! never again!

My husband and I went here for our anniversary! We had a room that faced the lake and it was clean, spacious and the view from our room was breathtaking! The hotel is super close to the lake as well as downtown and the nightlife. We walked everywhere! There was even a wedding going on downstairs and we still found our stay very quiet, peaceful and enjoyable. I can't believe we waited this long to stay at this hotel! We'll definitely be back in the near future!

My husband and I stayed at Bella Vista Suites for our Anniversary. What a mistake! Our room was gross! Dirty! There were mystery stains on the chair in the living area. Do you think they can afford to clean the blankets or get some new ones for $250.00 a night? The dresser drawers were all broken. The ceiling had a hole in it. There was someone else's hair coming out of the Jacuzzi. The tile is the bathroom was cracked. The balcony was full of bugs and spider webs. For breakfast they left 2 small bagels and 1-1/2 muffins in a dirty basket outside your door. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!

First of all, the rates are way over priced and the view of the playground in the park was not the best view. I have stayed at The Millcreek Hotel and decided to try something different. That was the biggest mistake I've made as a traveler. For best suites, rates, cleanliness and accomodations " The Millcreek Hotel" is the place to be.

The Bella Vista Suites is a great place to stay when visiting Lake Geneva. The accomodations were clean, and seemed fairly new. The room was very spacious and was very well laid out. The in-room wireless connection gave a strong signal. Having an in room jacuzzi was great. Another feature that we really liked was the basket of fruits, croissants, and orange juice that was delivered to our door in the morning. We visited midweek and the hotel was fairly quiet. The location of the hotel was excellent, you are only blocks from Lake Geneva's main business area. The hotel has it's own dock on Lake Geneva, right across the street. Not having to drive anywhere was a definite plus.

It's a newer hotel so it is clean but they gave us a room facing the street and was very small, but maybe we just were there at a bad time. I would say it is very average, it seemed very empty. The fireplace was nice.

We did not have a very good stay. Toilet was clogged when we entered left for 1 hour, went back still clogged went back 1 hour later. Bathroom not as clean as I would have expected for this hotel. Balcony was just filthy with dead bugs and spider webs. They had the bright lights on the balcony at night so we couldn't sit out because bugs flew to the bright light! Our room was located on the corner of the busy interection so it was very very loud. Traffic noise never stopped! I would not return.
