Loved our stay
3 friends and I made a trip here to see a concert. The staff was so friendly (especially Christina who worked the front desk) and helpful. They gave us tips of where to eat, where to buy whatever we needed, and the best ways to get around. The "continental breakfast" was the best I've ever seen with lots of options.
The room was small but very clean, well kept and up to date. The entire building was well kept and up to date. It had a very comfortable inviting feel to it.
The only cons were the limited parking which costs $13 a night and the lot is a little sketchy. And if you have a room facing the parking lot, you get to hear the bumping sounds of the club until 2am and then of course the sounds of people leaving the club.
Even still, if I ever had a reason to go back to Hartford CT, I would stay at this Holiday Inn Express in a heartbeat. It's no Hilton (a block or so away) but it is definitely worth the money.
