Great Stay for Business!
Room: TV was big for a hotel. 27' with ample cable channels. Nice big soft bed. Ample lighting/clothing storage areas. Nice desk, coffee table, pull out couch, internet connection. Had a nice mini fridge, microwave, ironing board, hairdryer, etc. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels/soap provided. The bathroom was great too. Good size, and a pretty nice shower head. It was also very clean. Only complaints about the room: The mini fridge vibrated the microwave which was really annoying. I solved that by placing phone books on top of the micro wave. Also, for those who are picky, you can hear your neighbors toilet flush and if the person above you has heavy footsteps, you will hear them. I couldn't really hear my neighbors on either side of me though, only footsteps from above.
Hotel: Ample parking, laundry room, indoor pool (not used by me), great continental breakfast in the morning and free paper. Great service by the hotel staff.
Surrounding areas: Lots of great places to eat. Super Subbys, Adams Ribs, Penn Station, Abuelos, Fox and Hound Bar and Pub. These were my favorite. Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Wendys, Bob Evens were good too. You name it, they got it, they have all the chains and some smaller ones. They also have a mall/shopping area, a movie theater, and the Airforce Museam nearby. Turn left to get to these areas. There is a Meijers if you turn right. All the bars/clubs that I found were really trashy looking, but if you're into that, more power to you. Otherwise there was about nothing else to do in the area. Most the locals told me it wasn't a real happining town. The people were really great in this area, all were nice.
Overall, for $75 a night it was a great experience and I'd stay there again if I ever needed to be in Dayton/Fairborn again.
