Tic ! Tic! Tic!
By Henry, 4/5/10
Aproximately 5 years ago my wife and I stayed at La Cueva Lodge and had a grate time except for 2 things: we found dead tics on the floor and two on the side of the bed. We would like to visit again this year 2010, but now I hear you no longer allow well-trained dogs (small )in the rooms. are there any exceptions? .

A wonderful place to stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/19/09
We found this a very comfortable and peaceful place to stay. The owners are lovely and very willing to help out with whatever you need. It's a nice location, away from the villages & cities, but close enough to get to any nearby sights. We loved watching the hummingbirds!

Go Elsewhere
By unhappy, 6/10/09
For the cost, $90.00 for the "deluxe" room including tax, this was way overpriced. Both beds were very hard, I even tried sleeping on top of the extra pillows. No good. No air conditioning. "Satellite" TV is mostly kiddy programs and news. Shower was hard to adjust and we were short towels and no management around to help out.

Bad beds
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/5/09
Old, hard beds, you can feel metal springs through the mattress. Better to take the bedding out back and sleep on the grass. We rented 2 rooms, all the beds were the same. Moldy towel baskets were nasty. No air conditioner, only a Fan. Satellite TV is 6 channels: cartoons, fox news, weather, usa, tnt, etc, no local channels. $90.00 per "Deluxe" room is way over priced (this includes lodgers tax). Better to go 9 miles to Jemaz Springs or 25 miles to Los Alamos for a nice room.

Loved looking out at the Mountains
By RESA, 7/23/06
It was so beautiful waking up hearing the small creek outside the backdoor. The mountains were awesome from the Lodges view and many homes up into the mountains was a very touching site to see.
