Wingate by Wyndham Commack, Brentwood

To be honest I wasn't expecting much from my stay, but everything turned out great...what a nice suprise. The property was well maintained and the staff defintely goes the extra step...you can tell they really care and this is by far the best value for your money tht I have experienced in the NY Metro area and I travel a lot! The location isn't the best' but I have to admit it is convienant to all of Long Island. Well done Wingate by Wyndham Long Island, I'll defintely be back on my next trip to the Island!

My friend and I spent a week in this hotel. The free breakfast was nice. Having a gym was nice. But the gym rarely has clean towels and there is nothing provided to clean the machines off after use. The free 'high speed' internet seemed like a nice perk. But everytime I logged on I got a notice saying my computer had suspicious activty and I would be restricted to 56K. I fell for it at first and virus scanned the heck out of my laptop. Then I realized I was getting this message when using 'too much' internet. The TV in the room was constantly blanking out. The hair dryer was on the fritz. One of the lamps in the room didnt work. NONE of the housekeepers we had spoke English. I called to try and get the lamp fixed and it never was. The button to call maintenance on the room phone rang to an invalied extention. But here is the real kicker...they jacked up our room rate in the middle of our stay-without even telling us! We booked online at one price and 4 days into it were charged a higher price. I question whether this is even legal! The excuse they used was because the month changed over during our stay. Bottom line-poor quality room, poor service. DON'T STAY HERE.

My wife and I were charged false smoking fees at this hotel. Neither of us smoke, and the hotel did no correct this issue. We are currently seeking action to have those charges removed.

We just spent the last weekend at this hotel and have to say it was so much more than we expected. It was so clean and the staff was so nice and helpful. The refridgerator and microwave and coffeemaker in the room was a plus. Can't wait to go back. Lynda and Lee

Our stay at the Wingate Inn, was a pleasurable one. The amenties we needed were at our fingertips. My one year old had enough room to roam around and the immediate acsess to her bottles in the refrigerater was a plus. Thanks You

This is a wonderful hotel, the service was A+++, the staff was right there to assist me with any thing i needed. My room was beautiful and the housekeeping staff was wonderful...i was able to have internet conection for my laptop in my room... i will be back! thank you for making my trip perfect!

I AM A SEASONED TRAVELER AND HAVE TO SAY THAT THIS HOTEL HAS ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES AND MORE...I LOVED THE NEAT FEATURES THAT ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT OTHER HOTELS...I WILL BE MAKING THIS HOTEL MY PREFFERED HOTEL ON LONG ISLAND
