Terrible service, poor communication

When reserving our room we were asked a multitude of questions. Such as, what we were looking for, where we were coming from, what time we needed to check in ect. When we arrived we were all set to get the room when we were turned away, because nobody had asked about our age. We were unable to rent a room because we are under 21, and since we are coming from out of state, we were unaware of this law. Furthermore, the staff at the hotel were unwilling to help us make further accomodations, merely suggesting that we find other Marriots miles away and outside of the city, and hope that they have an open room. Even then they might turn us away because of our age. We were adults, turned away because we aren't old enough to drink. Poor customer service and poor booking at the front desk.
