Incredible deal
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/23/10
What an incredible deal! We stayed here while a family member was in the hospital and received the medical rate of $52.99. The rooms are HUGE, clean, and I love the big bathroom. Nothing I hate worse than a hotel bathroom with the door up against the toilet. Not an issue here! Nice big bathroom, sitting area, comfy beds. They have just about everything to make your stay away from home as smooth and comfortable as possible. The location is nice, very close to restaurants and stores, and right around the corner from the hospital. I highly recommend this hotel.

What a wonderful surprise!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/9/09
We were pleasantly surprised by the overall cleanliness, fresh smell, and friendly service upon arrival. The suite was quite roomy and very comfortable. Bathroom was large, clean, well-stocked and the shower was exceptional. This is definitely a place for repeat visit.

Imressionable: comfortable, quiet and secure
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/1/08
This hotel was impressionable. It was comfortable, quiet and we felt safe. We were also secure leaving our car overnight in their parking lot. My husband and I had a room with a queen size bed in a non-smoking room with no hint of any lingering smoke odor. It had a good size closet which stored an ironing board, iron, pillows and hangers. It had a fridge that made ice cubes (eliminating having to leave your room to hunt down the dreaded ice machine), it had a microwave (inside was a bag of microwave popcorn), small sink, a dish washer and stove. This little kitchenette was equipped with dishes, pans, glasses, etc. The bathroom was roomy and CLEAN. The shower curtain was curved out eliminating the dreaded "sticking to you annoyance". It had a blow dryer with the expected shampoo, conditioner, bath and facial soap and fresh SOFT TOWELS. I loved the fact we were able to set the air conditioner in the room at any temperature we liked (no pre-set temperature limit!). They had movies you could sign out at the front desk (FOR FREE) and our room had a DVD player, several channels of HBO, 2 phones, voice mail and internet access. The hotel also had a little "store" off the lobby that had almost anything you could want to eat/drink which you could purchase at reasonable cost on the honor system (unheard of nowadays). A can of soda was $.050! (We were given a voucher for a complimentary can of soda on check-in.) The young woman at the front desk who checked us in was very helpful recommending (after our inquiry) a few restaurants and directions on how to get to them. It was a secure building with entry permitted only by using your hotel key card. You could enter the lobby from 7am-11pm without a card but after that time you had to have a room key card to enter there also. The front desk was closed between 11p and 7am. During those hours they did have a staff person in the building. There was an automated check in process which was located just outside the secure lobby area in which you used keypads if you checked in during those times. If you needed to checkout during those hours there were directions posted on how to do so. The location was close to Lambeau Field, shopping malls, Oneida Casino, many gas stations and a Walmart. The Walmart was open after 11pm the Saturday night we were there but I didn't notice if it was open 24/7. We stayed one night and it was a great value at $73.76 which included all taxes. We'd stay at this or another Candlewood Suites as our experience here was comfortable and enjoyable.

A wonderful experience!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/23/08
We recently stayed at Candlewood while attending our daughters college graduation at UW Green Bay. What a wonderful experience. The place was spotless, wonderful fluffy towels, kitchen fully stocked and we loved the store in the lobby where we could pick-up treats for a late night snack. Internet access and a recliner chair for reading were great!! We were so impressed.

unexplainable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/14/04
my parents are staying there and i really needed to call them and the front desk has hours that it is closed... i personally thing that a hotel front desk should be open at all times with at least one person there to take a call when the phone rings.
