We Loved Lambertville House
By Janet, 9/16/10
We were so pleased by the warm welcome and location of the hotel. Our room was not large but for two it was fine, clean and pretty antiques. The location could not have been better and your choice of all kinds of restaurants. We were told about Hamilton Restaurant which was fantastic plus bring your own bottle of wine. I highly recommend this Inn.

a disappointing start to the holidays
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/7/09
When we arrived, we had booked several rooms for family and once we checked in and went to our room, we discovered the bed a very high one, so we called the desk to request another room. We were told all the beds were the same - inaccurate at the least, since another room we had been assigned had a bed of normal height. So we switched rooms. The rooms tend to be cramped, but then hotel is in an older building, and ours had soiled carpeting. The parking also can be problematic, if another car takes up more than it's allotted space, you must contact the desk for help finding something, and street parking is metered. We would have left but for the bad weather that night. So we stayed and had breakfast the next morning. I wish I could say it was fine, but even there some of the items were stale, but the coffee was good, at least.

Absolutely wonderful!!
By Mary Ellen, 7/12/06
The hotel was in magnificent condition, I have never seen anyplace so clean! It exudes bed and breakfast charm while offering all the services of a first class hotel. It sits right in the heart of Lambertville and is only a short walk to New Hope over the bridge. Can't even imagine a better place we could have stayed!

THE place to get away for a weekend
By Amanda, 4/28/06
When we needed to get away for a night, we went to the Lambertville House and WOW were we impressed. The hotel recently was purchased by new owners and they have really made a difference there. The rooms are beautifully and simply appointed, with everything you could need or want. On top of that, they are CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. It looked as if we were the first people to ever stay in the room. The Jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and private balcony just added to the romance of the weekend. We will definitely come again. This is certainly one of the best small boutique hotels that we have ever stayed at and we cannot wait until our next weekend trip.

Good location, service, & handicap accessibility, but pricey
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/18/05
We enjoyed our early June 2005 three-day stay at the Lambertville House’s carriage house, which contains a queen-size bed and a large, 2-person jacuzzi for about $200 per night. The hotel houses mainly upper-middle class guests and has the following pro and cons. Pro: * Only about a block from the Lambertville-New Hope bridge & free parking. * Friendly concierge desk that even mailed us back an item we accidently left after we checked-out. * Breakfast - good quiche, coffee, and orange juice. * Handicap accessible historic hotel includes elevator, ramps, etc. * Room includes cable TV, refrigerator, hair dryer, but no microwave. Con: * The room has a 1 square foot stain in the carpet near the entryway. * Breakfast - cold, average tasting, baked goods that were likely made elsewhere. * Some inadequate staffing - Twice the hotel operator took over 15 rings to answer the phone and not overly helpful but ok night front desk persons. * Local and toll-free cost about a $1 per call.

Great romantic weekend
By BoogerzInWhite, 7/18/04
If you like like a Jacuzzi for two in front of the fireplace in a romantic and private suite, dining at intimate local restaurants, and shoppping for antiques until you drop-- this is the place for you.
