Not a very good place to stay

I was told three different prices. The room was not cleaned for 2 days. Unfriendly front desk staff. I found old heart EKG patches, about six of them stuck to the night stand in the hotel room. On 2nd shift the front desk clerk takes a lot of Smoke breaks is not there outside in back where the pool is smoking, and talking on cell phone. I stayed 3 nights, the first and second nights the pool was very dirty. The refrigerator in the hotel room has no thermstat, I had about six cans of diet coke that exploded in the refrigerator. Try to stay away from this place of you can, you will not be happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depends who is working

Was in Harrisonburg for a wedding. Collectively had about 20+ rooms. There from Thurday to Sunday. The place was great, clean, and great staff. Would have rated this place as 'excellent' except for Saturday evening when a young man behind the counter, Faisal Shah, became rude, condencending, and threatening towards me. Even made his co-worker very uncomfortable. It threw a wet blanket on the whole experience. As soon as Mr. Shah moves on, I go back for sure. But I would make darn sure he was gone before even thinking about it.

Orange juice is warm.Too much dough...cheap cereals, toasts, margarine not butter. Fruits aren't cut, so you can't just have a couple of slices? Sausage gravy is atrocious. Watery one time, thick and overly salted another time. Hey, this is the South! Can't someone learn how to make it? Waffles are good, syrup is cheap gluey stuff. Nice rooms. I don't trust the 6 pillows gimmick. Those maids really change 6 pillowcases? And they let dogs sleep here. I love the idea, but I hope I never get stuck in a dog's room.

poor breakfast

The continental breakfast was the worst that I have ever had.It tasted as though the Jameson had melted the artifical food that might be used for display. The room was clean but small.There was a noticable crack in the bathroom door due to poor construction. It was just a place to sleep that was a little over priced.

This was a great hotel. The room was huge, clean, and the staff was courteous. Check in was quick and check out was quick. Complimentary breakfast was very good.

Would Stay Here Again (But Upgrade that Nasty Syrup)

This hotel was clean and quiet, the two important requirements in a hotel for me. Sits away from highway traffic, and even the little refrigerator didn't make a racket. (Most of the time I have to unplug the little monsters to get any sleep.) Very nice and a good value. My only disappointment was at breakfast. I was so looking forward to those "make 'em yourself" waffles, but the syrup served in the little pitcher was deplorable. Maybe they're trying to save money with bargain brand syrup, but the little jelly sized syrup packets taste soooo much better. Everything else was fine.

Great experience every time

Have college students in Harrisonburg - this is a attractive, FRIENDLY, clean, great location, reasonably priced hotel. Also are pet friendly. And we're delighted that they provide HOT tea and coffee around the clock. Breakfast selections and appearance similar to the nicer hotels across Europe.
