The breakfast was very good. The room was not good for supposedly an up grade for 3 adults and two kids at that rate. There was no room for a roll away that we got and payed for and didn't use.

After a late start from DC and making a few stops along the way, we arrived at the Country Inn & Suites about 8:30 pm on August 1st. We had a coupon from one of those roadside magazines and they listed the room at $75. Since the rate was so low, we feared the worst! Our front desk clerk was nice & friendly and the fresh baked chocolate cookies were waiting! Our room was spacious & clean. The equipment in the gym was in great shape. As we were past the midway point in our trip, I did a load of laundry and both washer & dryer worked fine. The breakfast buffet was generous and the egg/meat combination changed between Tuesday & Wednesday. The location was right off the highway, about 45 minutes from HersheyPark and 30 minutes from Lancaster, PA. We checked out on 8/3/11. On 8/5/11 we realized that my daughter had left her iPod charger plugged in to the wall near the nightstand. I called the hotel & left a message, the call was returned as a voicemail to my cell phone saying they had found it. I called back on 8/12/11 to give my info. and I just rec'd the iPod charger in the mail today, 8/17/11. I figured the iPod charger was a tip for the maid when we realized it was missing, but the hotel staff was honest and mailed it to me at no charge and did so quickly. Very impressed with this hotel!!!!

I had a corporate function in York, PA where a very influential client was atending. I had, at first thought of the Sheraton 4 Points, but I made a last minute decision based on the location of the Country Inn and Suites, and I'm glad I did. Amy and the staff at the Country inn and Suites were absolutely there for us over and above what would be expected at a hotel. The amenities were fabulous and the room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure, they are on my speed dial for all upcoming functions, or just a relaxing long weekend. Thank you Amy, you made a profound impression.
