The pros: Free breakfast every morning. Not just continental, but full blown, cooked to order eggs and omelets with your choice of tomatoes, peppers, cheese, bacon, sausage, etc. Starbucks coffee. As much as you want. Every evening we had the managers' special reception which included all the booze you could possibly drink, ALL FREE! Not just beer, but any kind of mixed drink or cocktail you want, as much as you want, ALL FREE. Use of the in-door swimming pool and hot tub. The rooms were clean. Got a free USA paper every morning. The Cons: Leave all valuables at safe deposit box at the front desk. Rooms do not come with safe deposit box. I left my carry on bag at the top compartment of the closet, an area which does not require cleaning. Yet, when I got back after a day out, I found that my bag had been moved. Don't know if the housekeeper opened it, but it definitely had been moved, for what purpose, I don't know. Nothing was missing. Leave all ID, cash, jewels, and other valuables at the front desk safe deposit box. Other than that, I highly recommend this place!!!

I just found out that my credit card was charged $50.00 dollars for incidentials. The clerk never told me that they would be holding this money. I'll get it back in 3-4 days but my gut tells me that they aren't going to return the interest they made off my money nor will I get it in back in the time they say. When I called the clerk had the gall to tell me the practice is standard at all hotels. I've not seen that at any hotel that I've been in. Very distressing! Enough to make me say, never again.

I'm not sure what has changed since 2006 but I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was fast and friendly, the breakfast was great and had a ton of things to choose from, the rooms were clean and very spacious, and they just put in 42" flat screen TV's in all of the rooms! I was even able to plug my laptop into the TV to watch movies. I will definitely stay here again!

The service is very poor. Employee turnover is extremely high (this is a franchise hotel which is owned by a real estate company which has a reputation for poor employee morale). Check-in took forever, the front desk staff seemed very incompetent. Pretty interior, though.

The hotel room had an odor. There was no remote control in the bedroom. The cable tv has very few channels. The hotel room doors slam shut. Because of this you are constatly woken up or annoyed while in your room. The heated pool is cold. The staff was nice, and they have a warm breakfast. This area is full of hotels to stay out. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, spend you $170 a night somewhere else.

this hotel is super romantic and clean. The service is great and the food is good too. It's worth every penny. And is also great for planning parties because the ballroom is perfect. The luxury of this hotel is unbelivable, can't wait to go back.

Like staff and also easy to get to.. close to university of texas football stadium. The rooms were comfortable and the selection of handicap rooms was what we needed

Need a place to stay that is close to town and dont want to spend alot of money, this is the place to stay, staff was nice, rooms were adequate, price was very good.

Great location - minutes from everything. Very clean and great hospitality. Complimentary breakfast was very nice and very good. Best business trip in a long time.

It is off of the Interstate and it is accessible.We will reccommend this Hotel to our family and friends. If you are visiting Austin and want to get centrally located i.e. U T Stadium and Hillcountry sight seeing. What a location for you families starting point.
