Embassy Suites Columbus - Dublin, Dublin

I have read some postings complaining about the "curfew rules" here. As a frequent business guest, nothing is more disruptive to my stay than unsupervised unruly children running through the halls and making noise at midnight...on a Tuesday.Most of the guests here are on business, and for those parents who don't want to watch their children or pay for a babysitter, leave your kids at grandma's. I have only seen Security require loud groups and unsupervised children to be in their rooms after 11:00, and that is for the comfort of their frequent business guests-not for your hockey team that has 8 people in a room and leaves their kids to tear the place up while they drink canned beer in the lobby.If you watched your kids, Security wouldn't have to do it for you.

The complimentary breakfast is NOT continental it is a buffet style hot and cold breakfast; excellent! The bar has complimentary drinks from 5:30 to 7:30. The bed was sooo soft, the room was clean and the room service was quick! The menu prices were reasonable and the food presented well and tasted great! The staff were helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel... clean and for what you get, a great buy!

The Hotel is a nice hotel But, they treat you like you are in prison with the 11:00 pm bed time. If you have a team for sports there you will not like it. Was there for the Softball World Series and I will say I will never go back there again. As a Adult and get told we need to be in are rooms at 11 is just wrong. the pool was dirty and slimy, Lots of kids got sick. Found out they only clean the pool once a week. Yuck. And of course someone had an accident in the pool and finally got cleaned. When we talked to them about the issues they recommended that we should go to another hotel. Not a way to handle issues. so just make sure you really look into this hotel before you stay there.

Spent two nights at this hotel and thought it was very nice. The children had a great time in the pool. The complimentary breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly.

Our recent stay at the Embassy Suites was one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had. The staff and over-zealous security guards turned an absolutely beautiful facility into a “police state.” I have never been to any hotel where responsible adults have to be in their rooms, with the door closed, by ll:00 PM. Honest! I understand about “quiet hours” and respecting the peace and quiet of others. However, we had a block of over 50+ room for a state high school basketball tournament. This was not a wild crowd. All children were well-supervised. But the staff was unaccommodating, paranoid and unfriendly from the beginning. They totally lacked any common sense or tact and made us feel very unwelcome. Whatever result they are trying to achieve with their policies, they are totally missing the mark for customer service. Please ask them about all their “rules” before booking. If you like being treated like you are under house arrest, this is the place for you! I would NEVER stay at this hotel again.

The staff were very friendly, I loved the rooms they were very spacious. I enjoyed having two televisions in the room because the children could watch Nick. The only thing that was missing for me personally was a 24 hour religion channel. Everything else was perfect.
