Very relaxing, excellent strawberry margherita's!
Service was good, every attendant was very attentive and asked if everthing was o.k., or said 'good morning!'. Our room was very comfortable; ours was the basic room, it was set up like an average hotel room, with average amenities, yet much more attractive. The area this place covered was pretty big, walking is definitely something to consider. Golf cart attendants are around the parking lot to help get to the cars parked further than one would like to walk. A restaurant/lounge called the Rio Grande lounge was found to have the absolute best strawberry margherita and caesar salad, and I am very picky, as well as my significant other to be very picky with tequila and salads. (Get the Herradura Reposado tequila!) Book an activity or excursions based in the resort ASAP! as they fill up very fast, and if you wait 2 days out of five like me, you will have to find something else to do. The Corn Maiden restaurant, the premier restaurant at the resort, was very good, but not excellent. The appetizers were excellent, service was excellent, but the main course, soup, and salad were either bland or not to our taste. We had the 'game' rotisserie for a main course. the Pools were good, kind of small, got crowded at times. And for last, early morning risers might be a little disappointed, as most places advertise opening at 9 (pools, activities, equipment rental), and don't actually open until about 9:20-30. Albuquerque is literally a slum/tourist trap, Santa Fe is much much better, but still touristy. Must see the loretto chapel, and georgia o'keefe museum. Don't eat at "La Hacienda Restaurant" (express is o.k.) or "Coronado's". Oh, and the Casino's are horrible- save it for Las Vegas!
