Hollywood Guest Inn, Hollywood

I stayed here for 2 and a half months and was pleased with my stay while I was in town for an internship. Although the monthly rates are ridiculously expensive, the daily rate is ideal for tourists. This is just one block away from the Hollywood/Highland complex, but is located on a corner of Sunset Blvd near a slew of seedy looking characters and drug addicts. It's pretty typical LA on this block. I'd advise the Hollywood Rennaisance if you want real luxury but this is sufficient for a day's stay. Rooms are cleaner and just much better than any of the motels in the area. Beware all Hollywood motels.
