A Tale of Two Rooms
By Mac, 06/19/07
My seventy-four year old mother and I stayed at the GuestHouse Inn and Suites on two separate occasions, once while driving to Las Vegas (Friday, June 1st, 2007) and once driving back from Sin City (Saturday, June 9th, 2007). While both rooms had the same amenities, the rooms were a bit different nonetheless… The first night in Miles City, we ended up in Room 233, which was on the second (top) floor of the hotel. They do not have an elevator, so we had to use the side stairs. They were quite wide and not too steep, so we could walk up and down them with very little difficulty. The clean room was medium sized and included two very hard beds, a clock radio, two regular chairs, a table, a large television (with 105 digital channels plus music stations) with remote, a medium sized refrigerator and a small microwave oven. There was also an extra pillow, a coffeemaker, and an iron/ironing board in the room, and the cleaning staff had left two mints on the bedside table. The medium-sized bathroom had ample room to move around in. It included four sets of towels, a telephone, a hairdryer, a sink, a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of body lotion. The shower did have a handrail to hold on to, but it seemed too close to the shower head to be useful. The bathroom fan was noticeably dirty. The air conditioner was not turned on, so it was very warm when we entered the room. We also found the doors slammed shut very hard, but we did not hear any noise the first night that we stayed. Upon arrival on our way home from Las Vegas, we staying in Room 235 which was next door to the room we had the first night. We found that most things were the same, except the different television (which was harder to work with the digital cable box) and we did not receive any mints (no big deal). We also found a used towel behind the bathroom door that was not found by the cleaning staff, and the shower curtain was slightly frayed at the bottom. We also found the air conditioner to be extremely noisy and made it very difficult to sleep. The hotel is located off the Interstate in a rural setting. It is very close to some restaurants and down the street from a huge Wal-Mart and Albertson’s grocery store (which are located north of the Interstate). After taxes, the American Automobile Association rate for both of our stays came to $87.74 U.S. Funds each night. Overall, both rooms were fine and we felt very comfortable. Other than the minor cleaning problems (dirty bathroom fan and dirty towel) and the air conditioner noise the second night, I am sure you will have a good stay at the GuestHouse Inn and Suites.

Your staff is great.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/19/06
My husband and I have stayed there the last few times we visited Miles City. I was there by myself the last time in March. You had a lot of tournament reservations but found room for me and I really appreciate it. You staff is great but your beds are too firm....We have stayed in 3 or 4 different rooms. The same in every room...too firm!!! Wake up still feeling tired. Love the breakfast buffet though.

Very Nice Hotel
By Janelle, 07/18/05
My family stayed there this past weekend and we were very happy with the way we were treated and how clean the hotel and rooms are. The pool and spa area are very nice, small (the pool is only 4FT deep) but nice. The hot breakfast was more then I have ever seen offered as a free breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
