Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad Beach, Carlsbad

had our 16 yrs wedding ann.,and they surprised us with a bottle of champaigne,that added a spark in our celebration!!! and we had a nice stroll by the beach early morning ..breathtaking ...thanks team.

What a place and what a staff! this place has it all, wedings bussiness functions, movies on the lawn and right across from the ocean! My 5 year old daughter and spent 3 wonderful nights and they made us feel special, while catering several functions. Awesome pool and a gift for your child at check in. Dinner was nice with an ocean view and a flaming table.This is the place to vacation with younger children. Legoland is nearby and the HGI offers free shuttle service. A perfect 10 stay.

It is comparable in some ways to Hampton's and others in the Hilton chain. But with this "level" of hotel continental breakfasts is out of the question - you're supposed to be able to affored what they charge. Food was fair, but a bit on the steep side price-wise. Wireless internet is free in most hotels so have free wireless here isn't such a big deal. And perhaps my room was a bit out of the normal range (I doubt it) but I had wireless dropouts rather frequently. The rate I was charged, supposedly a "discounted corporate rate" was considerably more that what is listed here. As a vacation destination I think it's a good choice. As a business destination, go inland a half mile or so.

The family and I were driving into san diego and did not have a reservation, when driving along the coast we found the Hilton Garden inn carlsabd beach, what a find,, The hotel is beautiful and well managed, the staff is so helpful and friendly, they make you fell better then we have ever felt in a hotel before... The rooms have oceanviews and it is great to wake up and smell the ocean.... unbelievable... The hotel is new and has a nice swimming pool for the kids, and by the way, we loved the freeze pops that the staff brought by for the kids, they loved it.. I could go on and on, the hotel is wonderful, you will love it!!!!!!!

This hotel is located across the street from the beach and is the perfect place to vacation,, the stay is unbeleivable, there is nothing they wouldnt do for you,, I can see why the hotel was the number hilton in both 2005 and 2006... We cant wait to go back.. the pool are is fun and the kids loved it.. the food is great to... This is a must stay porperty,,, you will love it.. Its nice to stay at a hotel that gets service!!! They are the best

Comparable to a Hampton Inn. Room was clean and wired/wireless internet access was free which is more than most other hotels will give you. I ordered room service upon arrival and service was prompt and the food was good. However, like all hotels they add in a service charge and an 18% tip and still include a blank line for a tip. This is only for the clueless to tip further. There are a couple of good restaurants (fast food and sit down type) that are very close to the hotel as an option. If you're looking for a no frills type place to stay that's comfortable and convenient to the Carlsbad/North San Diego area, then this is probably your best bet.

I recently had the pleasure of relaxing at this hotel 6 days during the months of July and August 2005. The hotel itself is located right on the beach in Carlsbad,CA. With inviting landscaping and a warm clean exterior the hotel beckons you to come in and relax. The service was excellent.The staff was professonal and friendly making you feel right at home. If you needed anything the staff was right there to help in any way possible. The room was very comfortable,clean and well appointed. The hotel has even implemented a Fri. & Sat. night outdoor movie theater for families and their children. All displayed on an extremely large screen in the atrium area, complete with popcorn, snacks and soft drinks for the kids. I thought this was a very nice touch for those traveling with children. The Location was very convenient for may stay as well right across the street is the beautiful Pacific Ocean and miles upon miles of pristene coastline just begging you to walk along the shore and enjoy a warm and colorful sunset or watch the kite surfers and remote control gliders floating on the ocean breezes. Just down the steet a few blocks is downtown Carlsbad with a wonderful variety of local resaurants, bars and lots of local colour and atmosphere to be enjoyed by those traveling to this part of the California coastline.

Lets start this off by stating how wonderful guest services were. As soon as my grilfriend and I walked in the girl at the front desk made us feel right at home. Wow what a lovley feeling she gave us. Then we get to our room, want to talk about getting treated like a king I was so impressed on how the room was set up. The bed was ever so comfortable and the view was just spictacular. Talk about impressing a girl well Hilton help me show this girl what life was all about. And to top it all off just a few steps from a beach that was unforgettable. It was like I was in another country. Then I question my self, was I really in heaven or is this just how Hilton makes your stay the best time life can bring?

I would definitely return, everyone was extremely professional and went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant stay.
