The Worst Hotel in Cancun!
By ,
This place was the worst inclusive hotel ive witnessed. really bad food, the place is in constant construction, the air conditioning didn't work in our room, and management did not care at all. finally i had to cancel the rest of my stay there, and find another hotel in cancun, and management charged me full for everything and were extremely rude. BUYER BEWARE!!

Beautiful, but lacking
By ,
My husband and I went to Playa del Carmen at stayed at this resort on our honeymoon. We were captivated by how beautiful the resort was, but disappointed with the food and drinks. We ended up spending a lot of extra money eating in town since even the "reservation only" restaurants were not that good. The snack bar is wonderful though with great quesadillas and nachos. Also, the beach was very pretty and pool area was equally as nice. Unless they improve on these two very important areas (food and drinks) I would not stay here again.

Excellent trip
By ,
The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms, pool, beach area, gym, lobby, etc were clean. The bartenders worked very hard to ensure you did not have to wait long for a drink and they were friendly and respectful. The food in the Italian and Mexican restaurants was very good, while the snack bar food was good and the buffet could have been better. We booked through FunJet who picked us up at the airport in a van, and took us directly to the hotel. On the return to the airport after the vacation, FunJet provided a car and driver for us and took us directly to the airport. $3 cab ride to 5th Avenue for shopping.

Overall good food a let down
By ,
the rooms were very well equiped with everything we needed and the maid service was excellant. clean towels and beds made daily. the pool was amazing along with the beach. there were enough sunbeds for everyone around the pool or on the beach. the food was god in the mexican and italian but the buffet was a dissapointment. there entertainment was also a let down. there is nothing to do for children in the evenings. overall a satisfactory holiday

2nd trip to Mexico
By ,
My husband and I stayed at Reef Coco Beach, July 3rd-7th. We had a great trip. Last year was our first trip to Mexico, we stayed at a much larger resort, and honestly were exausted by how far it was to everything. This year we wanted a smaller resort. Reef Coco is definitely convenient. The highlights of this resort are the delicious snack bar by the pool, the sports bar upstairs (only open at nite) and how easy it is to go to Playa Del Carmen. We chose to upgrade our room to ocean front. Well worth $25 a nite, for a hammock to lay on and look out at the ocean. The first couple of days the weather was so nice,we had our balcony door open and could listen to the waves. This resort is great for meeting people. Because of the size, you see the same people everyday. We met so many people. Great trip, would definitely go back.

Great for Family Vacations!
By ,
A great destination- Playa del Carmen! This is a newer hotel, on the beach. Clean and with a nice beach. 5 minutes from downtown Playa. It is beautiful, greaat for a family. Not a lot of "night life" though. Kinda a nice escape for those who like it that way.

Most Amazing Trip I've Been On
By ,
I just got back from spending christmas and new years here for my grandparents 50th anniversery. there were 17 of us that all went and i had the most amazing time. I wasn't ready to leave and now when i look back at my pictures i start to have withdrawls. I grew very close with some of the workers... Jerry, Jorge, Juan, and Victore... they were all so friendly. Jorge and Juan even played basketball with my cousin and I. If it wasn't for them, i dont think i would have had as much as a good time as i did. It was because of these 4 guys i didnt want to leave. They taught me how to slasa dance, speak spanish and so much more. They didn't spend all of their time with me either. Jorge would play with the younger kids and have contests with them in the pool. We had excellent service @ both the Mexican and Italian resteraunts, and the food was amazing!! I wish i could have stayed for 2 weeks instead of 1. The sad thing is, i know if i go again, it wont be the same bc of old workers leaving (like jerry, he goes home to venezuela in a month) and b/c of the new staff members that i wont know. However, it was the best vacation i have ever been on and i advise you all to vist. It's a great place to bring your family!! So if you do decide to stay @ the reef coco beach make sure u tell them i said "Hola! Como estas?"

Good family environment!
By ,
It is a beautiful resort with a spectacular beach and pool area. My wife and I spent our honeymoon there and enjoyed every minute of it. It is however more of a family resort. Every morning at 9:00 we woke up to the loud entertainment staff doing water aerobics inside the pool area. The food was pretty good though the buffet could have used a little more variety.

Mexico a must GO!
By ,
The Reef is a beautiful Resort. It was just our type. The views were unbeleviable. Every room has a great view because of the horseshoe layout. The beach had plenty of chairs and beachfront were others did not. I would stay there again. The only bad thing was that they overbooked. We had to stay at another reef resort for 1/2 the trip which was not as nice but still fun. It was a pain to repack in the middle of our week. We actually only stayed at the Reek Coco for 1 1/2 days, but very nice days. They did give a comp. massage. We loved Mexico and will be back!!!!!
