7 reviews for Wingate by Wyndham Fargo, Fargo
Not worth the price anymore
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/08/08
I used to stay at this hotel frequently. Not very long ago the normal rate was $79. It was good value. Then Wyndham took it over and jacked the price up to $99 without making any improvements. At $5 more the Holiday Inn now has my custom

Great Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/29/08
The room we stayed in was very clean, the staff was friendly, the pool was clean. For the money this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The next time I stay in Fargo I will be staying at this hotel. There are a number of stores and such within walking distance yet the area is nice and quiet.

Very Enjoyable Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/08/07
I chose the Wingate after reading the reviews. They were right it is larger that you expect. Over all it was an enjoyable weekend and quite quiet. The warm continental breakfast was excellent. Only minor complaint is do not take the rooms next to the confrence room on the second floor. Thank goodness it has excellent soundprofing as only a minimal noise was heard from a family using it. I would use this hotel again and recommend it to friends.

Our new home in Fargo!
By Mac, 11/12/06
My seventy-three year old mother and I usually stay in Fargo at least two or three times a year, either on our way to/from a holiday, or for just a quick weekend shopping trip. This was the first time that we stayed at the Wingate Inn, and did not know what to expect... When we arrived the night of Friday, August 11th, 2006, we were greeted by a friendly staff member. Since this was our first visit, she explained all about the hotel and its amenities. I had requested a quiet room on the top floor away from the elevator, and that is what I was given. We entered Room 405 to find a huge room with two well worn queen beds, a clock radio, two chairs (including a swivel one), a "comfy" chair with ottoman, a table, a desk, a large (fifty-plus channel) television with remote, a refrigerator, a coffeemaker, an iron/ironing board, and a closet with a safe. The large bathroom was clean and included the sink, a hairdryer, shampoo, and conditioner. The hotel had a twenty-four hour business center beside the front desk, with an Internet access computer, fax machine, and copier. There was also an indoor swimming pool, which we did not use. I did complain that the beds were well worn for such a nice room, but was told that new mattresses would be in place in 2007 for my next visit. My mother and I liked this hotel, as it was very comfortable and made us feel like we were at home. We have already booked a room at the Wingate Inn for our next visit to Fargo...

The Wingate has some of the largest standard rooms of all area hotels. The service is great and the amenities are endless, including free wireless/high speed internet, free breakfast, free guest social, a nice pool and hot tub, and an fitness center.

Always Great!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/20/05
I love everything about this hotel- from the happy hour to the hot breakfast in the morning. I travel a lot for business and their business center is well-equipped and easily accessible. The staff is always friendly and seems genuinely happy you're there.

Clean and Hospitable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/23/05
This facility was a great place to unwind while on the road. The rooms were impecably clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Close to a fairly imexpensive yet good italian restraunt
