Holiday Inn Express Durham, Durham

First it was very easy to find. The room and bath were clean, comfortable and very well appointed. Everything worked (TV lamps etc.). I had an excellent nights sleep and was sorry I couldn't stay just a little bit longer. We did take advantage of the later check-out. The staff was courteous and prompt with services. the breakfast buffet was more than ample. I can't stress enough how neat and clean everything was. Coffee and tea was available in the lobby around the clock with cookies! I thank you again for your hospitality. Don't go looking for a view but with curtains drawn the appearance of the room was upscale. Noise was at a minimum (weekend?) when I was there and our room was away from the highway. Sincerely J. The staff at this Holiday Inn were very friendly and pleasant. They were especially helpful when we were looking for places to eat and see in the area. At the front desk, they had a list of restaurants with directions of how to get there. We especially enjoyed the complimentary cookies at the front desk and breakfast the next morning. If I'm ever in the area again, i will definitely stay here again.

is right on interstate 85 and it is not insulated well so room was loud all night especially with all the construction. not in a safe area of town. service and management not as good as it was a few years ago. will not return.
