Don't waste your money at the dining room!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/19/10
We went there for our anniversary, we have come to the conclusion that any good reviews were written by the management NOT the customers. This was the worst food we have had in ages.. Staff was pleasant and were willing to send the food back, however, let's face it, who wants to be eating alone at the table (like the person next to us who sent hers back - it took so long to get her meal everyone was finished). We ate most of our food (not that there was much on our plates....thank God). It was not enjoyable by any means, brought the rest home for the dog. Meat was burnt and tough, definitly was a cheap cut, salmon had lots of bones. Manager did try to make it right, but at that price we still walked away with a heafty bill. It irritates us when they want to cut the meal price when what we really want is just a pleasant experience and good food, if we wanted discounted food we would have chosen McDonalds. Qualitiy control people!!!! Do it right the first time. Our suggestion for others, walk over the the Rock Bottom Brewery (never a disappointment), Johny Carinos or even Dave & Busters. The foods better the atmosphere is much more pleasant and you don't hear every word from the tables surrounding you. Two different dishes orderd....two thumbs down. The Westin needs some serious work. Get to it guys.

More then we expected!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/03/08
We stayed here for the night after we married. First off the customer service was great! Everything from the valet to the room service people treated us with smiles and even went out of their way to assist our needs. Nothing was too outrageously priced, and the room itself had a few great surprises that made the comfort level go way up! And don’t get me started on the view, which was just wonderful. The pool and hot-tub were clean and maintained, and O’s restaurant on site made eating out so much better! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking about getting away from it all without traveling far at all. The location is perfect!

Beyond our expectations!
By JOAN, 07/07/07
We were at this hotel for 10 nights -- 11 days & let me tell you -- we really loved our stay. We are planning a return trip this fall! The bed, linens, hospitality, location, outdoor hot tub a plus! The exercise room was very nice & they even offered free headsets so you could listen to the news, shows etc. on TV Location, location, location! PERFECT! Close to Boulder, Golden, Colorado Springs. Many places to choose from within walking distance. Butterfly exhibit close by! Just off the freeway. The pool was a little disappointing as it is small & seemed somewhat in need of an update. The shower room was very nice, roomy & offered a sauna. Restaurant a bit upper scale. May be pricey for families.

Wonderful Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/05/07
Recently stayed at this hotel for a conference. Beautiful decor and exceptional staff! The staff was especially accomodating toward our young boys. The head chef even made them character pancakes despite an extremely busy dinner crowd. Can't offer enough accolodes for their first-rate service!

Horrible front desk . Great concierge. Good food. Bad waitstaff.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/11/06
My wife and I stayed at this Westin for several days for the National Bison Assn annual meeting. The hotel is architecturally beautiful, however we did have some service issues. When we checked in the first morning, the front desk clerk (male) would not shut up! We just wanted to get to our room. Instead, he droned on and on about the hotel's services (which was fine--and expected), but also proceeded to basically talk through the menus of every restaurant in the area. He certainly was not selling his own restaurants. He wasted our time. The major plus for the hotel was its very informative, intelligent, and friendly concierge. She went the extra mile for not only us, but also the rest of our group. Just exceptional! The main restaurant had very good food--a little pricey--but worth going to again. The service there was marginal--the young pretty waitresses just seemed to be more interested in talking to one another and being pretty rather than helping us. Restaurant manager a plus.

Great Hotel and good value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/13/05
We were able to visit this hotel many times on Priceline for less than $75! Now that the word is out they are running over $100, but it is an awesome hotel. Next to restaurants, ice rink, movie theater, shopping. Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park is less than 2 hours, ski resorts a little over 2 hours away. Sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset over the mountains is a highlight.

Wow!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/13/05
Our family took a vacation to California, on the way back home we stayed at the Westin in Westminster,Co. I wished we would of stayed in a Westin in every City we stayed in. We all felt right at home,we are going to Colorado this next week-end, and my girls tell me we HAVE to stay at the Westin! And we will. Thank you for making us feel right at home.

What Service!
By Peggy, 05/16/05
I recently stayed at the Westin Westminster with my 7 yr old daughter for a dance workshop. From the minute we pulled up, the staff was not just kind and courtious, but friendly. They offered many suggestions for close by dining experiences that my daughter would enjoy. They made sure our room was next to a fellow dancer from our home town. Room service was not only speedy (ordered and recieved in less than 30 minutes!) but correct! Each time we walked through the main lobby, they greeted my daughter directly and asked how her workshop was going. The room was spotless. The beds fantastic. Shower was wonderful. The pool was perfect. Hottub, outstanding (located on the 2nd floor, outside with a beautiful view of the mountains!). I recommend the Westin Westminster to anyone traveling in the area. It's perfect for children, wonderfully romantic for couples and even though we didn't have a chance to explore, it's close to so many wonderful places!

The View is Unbeatable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/10/05
This Westin is fantastic, the view of the mountains are outstanding. There is an outdoor hot tub facing the mountains and it is within walking distance to shopping and dining and easy access to highways. It offers the Heavenly Bed which is the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. There is a restaurant on site for breakfast in the morning. This is a great hotel.
