The Palms Condominiums, San Pedro

We didn't have a lot to spend, but we wanted to be on the beach and close to town. I really wanted Ramon's, and I'm *so glad* we didn't choose it. The Palms actually shares the beach with Ramon's, so you get the cool thatched-hut feel from Ramons without the big prcie tag & small rooms! The Palms condos are great! We stayed in unit 21 - I highly recommend that one in particular. 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, and the smaller bedroom has a small private balcony. Kitchen, flat screen, sleeper couch, a little paperback library (I took one and left one), and the view is perfect! Just what you want when you visit the beach. The pool looks small in the pictures, so I wasn't crazy about that. And it is on the small side - but it's surrounded by huge palms and other tropical plants on all sides (except a little area to enter). It is simply beautiful! Feels like it's more for romance than for playing children. (We were there with our teen daughter...she loved it.) Anna and her staff are really great. And the location was perfect for us: right in the town, but once you're on the property, you feel miles away. There is no city noise, and the huge tropical plants create a beautiful barrier to the street-side. And the beach is right there! Highly recommend this condo. p.s. I tried not to rate it perfect in every catagory, but truthfully, I can't think of a single problem. It really was 5 stars in every way.

Even though we were there only one night, for we had to catch a plan the next day, we enjoyed our stay so much we are planning another trip for this coming June. Wonderful people and a great place to stay for and you are close to many great food bars and restaurants. Be sure to take in B’ C’s.

The Palms was perfect for us! We were travelling with another couple friend, and the condominium they put us up in was beautiful. The a/c worked great (quiet) and the view out the front/main window (which was huge) was amazing - just crystal clear blue waters. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only bad thing about it was the beach front right in front of the hotel was a little crowded. We'd go back in a minute.
